We are a family owned and operated ranch located in the wide open prairies of Wyoming. We use regenerative agriculture to produce the highest quality, all-natural, grass and flax-fed meats and we specialize in 100% Fullblood Japanese Wagyu. Not only do we use our greenhouse to produce sprouted fodder to supplement our livestock, but we also grow produce to make delectable, homemade, canned, and lacto-fermented foods straight from the ranch. We do not use any hormones, antibiotics, or chemicals in any way shape or form on our ranch. You can feel safe knowing where your food is coming from and how it is raised.

When do you plant your cover crops? What do you plant? When do the cows graze it?
Hi! We do trit and peas in the spring for hay and then in August we plant a winter cover crop and let the cattle graze it through the winter and then roll it back into the soil with the cattle waste in the late winter/early spring to replant the hay.
And During the summer season they are rotated on natural prairie grass pastures
@@wyowagyu Thanks for answering my questions. I don’t live that far from you. I custom graze for someone Spring-Fall . I am thinking about bringing in someone else’s cattle in the Winter so I am always interested in what other local people are doing as far as planting goes.
@@wyowagyu What is in your winter cover crop? Also do you sale your beef at any of the shops? I would love to try a package as we will be looking for a beef sometime this year. Thanks!
@@AmberLee-ev7nr ya we are doing the millborn seed called “The Producer” for winter cover. It’s radish and flax and some other root veg plants to help with soil compaction and moisture.. or lack there of i should say 😂

Hi, both actually. We save certain ones of both genders back for specific genetic traits that are better than the others and then we raise the other out for eventual harvest. It takes almost 3 years for a wagyu to reach full marbling maturity for harvest.

Lol. No. Just the little babies.
I once heard you have to remove food and water during the night from chickens, why is it so?
Its a good idea more so because baby chickens are not too smart or hardy yet and if they get wet then they die and that is when it always seems to happen. Atleast in my opinion.

What variation can I do with chick feed?
I just use organic chick starter feed. I dont do any special mixes for the babies, not that you couldnt but I dont because I dont know how to get their exact nutritional needs that young.
Mineral oil can also be used for pasty butt...
I once heard apple cider vinegar is also used for some other process I think...
