This one I made for one of my favourite bands: Motorpsycho. They had this playful idea of taking the song's title litterally, they wanted to play victims of rock in the video! They wanted to climb. And they wanted to record the song live in studio whilst filming. The South - The Further inside you go..." This is a video I shot and edited for the norwegian band "The South". The song is played live by the band in a one-take recording at their rehersal room in Trondheim. I filmed with my Canon 5D and a 85mm 1.6 lens. Two friends with 5D's flanked me with 24-70mm lenses, add one extra DSLR in the roof - make a 4 cam multicam setup. Post edited in Final Cut,...

too many filmmakers today have a strong preference for shooting handheld. To me, it just looks too amateurish because the footage is so unsteady. This film, nice as it looks, was too distracting because of the camera movement from the filmmaker shooting handheld. The image stabilizer is great and does what it's supposed to do. But there is no denying the fact, that there is motion from the handheld camera that is making the image wander all over. It would have been a far better and superior film if the filmmaker used a tripod to do the test film with and the results would be far more professional looking. However and in fairness, the video camera was well balanced. The settings were properly implemented and the camera was obviously correctly white balanced, the lens settings properly set. If this were not true, the picture would be over or under saturated, be too bright or too dark. They are not. There are some areas where the images are a bit blurred because of incorrect use of the manual focus, but overall the film was ok... with a little bit of practice and use of a good solid tripod, the film could be exceptional. As it is now, it's just run of the mill...

Det er jo en sang om en fotballspiller som har vunnet "skjerfet" av fotballsupportere. Det som er greia er at denne utmerkelsen vinner du ikke av egne supportere. "Skjerfet" tilfaller de spillere som mottar størst respekt, ikke support, fra andre lags supportere

Mener å huske at det var over 70K forespørsler til Rosenborg-Real Madrid på Lerkendal og omtrent det samme til Rosenborg-Arsenal. Det hadde søren meg vært noe å vært vitne til! Drømmer om en ny gulltid for norsk fotball med RBK i spissen på nye tokter ute i Europa.

Som bergenser er jeg naturlig nok ikke noe stor fan av rbk. Men på tross av dette har jeg ingenting negativt å si om Roar Strand. Han ofret alt for klubben han elsket og han vurderte aldri tanken på å forlate Trondheim,, selv etter diverse tilbud fra større klubber hvor han kunne levd opp til sitt potensiale, og fått betalt det han var verdt. For å definere Roar med tre ord: "LIDENSKAP FREMFOR RIKDOM" Evig respekt til deg Roar, og dette kommer fra en brann supporter :)
