It’s fantastic with the dropped guitar that Johnny and Syl are out of tune and they don’t give a shit. Plus those upstrokes make for extra raw sound. Dolls are the best. Yeah, DJ dancing and dress are all top shelf!

It was an industry showcase that night. The band was begged by management to tone down the glam/drag elements of their show. Instead David showed up in an actual dress, just to rub it in their faces. Long Live the New York Dolls!

I can't believe how popular this crap is. This is possibly the worst band in the world. Apart from the NY Dolls! Who were so awful they probably all went into middle age wondering if they actually did anything of worth. No you didn't boys. Both groups are a hideous representation of the New York scene in the 70's. And people have the nerve to compare this trash to the Pistols. No fucking way. Give me a London band any day of the week. Absolute rubbish
Rotten and the rest were dressed by Malcolm to look like Richard hell and Steve Jones admitted he wanted to play like thunders and they all were taking after the stooges what did the pistols do that was original or better
I actually think Ramones were the most unique at the time because they were singing songs like Judy is a punk and 53rd and 3rd it didn't really sound like other rock bands that I heard from that time
