Welcome to my Dancing Leaves - Nature & Faith channel
Nature and faith go hand in hand, the beauty of creation, meeting God in these places (as well as meeting Him right where you are at) So I wanted to combine my love of nature with my faith and photography.
I have m.e (myalgic encephalomyelitis)
It's taken much from me, but it will not take my joy & I find joy in photography, in nature, in Jesus - they soothe, refresh & calm.
Standing in the rain. The sun on my face.
The birds singing, fling, dancing & soaring.
The wind blowing around me & the leaves dancing on the breeze.
The green of the hills, blue of the sea. The colours of the wildflowers.
"What a wildly wonderful world, God!
You made it all, with Wisdom at your side,

Whilst sitting waiting for a kingfisher, we were kindly alerted to an otter swimming and dipping, farther along the river. We whiled away a time enjoying the view and it dipped for food and swam along.

Sorry I don't, it is quite an old one.
I used to love hearing the original fog horn as i lived in Newquay and could also see the light. The newer fog horn could never be heard and now there is no horn at all. But testament to the excellent safety record commercial shipping now has.

We used to hear the fog horn years ago for miles ,I used to go to sleep listening to it ,I didnt even know they had replaced the horn with this horrible noise ? I thought the horns had been decommissioned ?
I am still looking for reasons why they changed the noise, it is ear piercing!
It went automated in 1995.
maybe its because they now hire out the cottages i suppose the original horn would of been to loud, it was a beautiful sound oh well I have the memories
Yes maybe. I think I would rather have the other even if I stayed there!
@anni50ful: The supertyphon horns were replaced with this beep years ago, although I thought this one had also been shut off fairly recently as even these are being slowly phased out.
