Wonder if I could use the brake compression thing for the caliper on it
@@J1MMER give it a go and see how it works
Great video. Really enjoyed it. Have been considering buying a teardrop to use as a rental. Watching how much you enjoyed your rental, I am now leaning even more heavily towards going for it. Thanks!
@@brettelizabethspore no problem at all, I would definitely recommend it, we loved and are always looking forward doing it again. Thanks
You talk to much
Hope this video has helped you change the oil sensor on your Honda CRV
I see people include myself beat the hell out of the rotor and get no where untill i try this
@@ChiNguyen-wf1qt hahah yeah I did the same for a long time.
Pressure washer is the best
Yea but you cant get the bolts out without dropping the subframe so this is useless, thanks for wasting my time.
@@austinwoodside no you definitely can, I didn’t touch the subframe. You can’t use a socket in the bottom bolts, you will need to use a ratchet spanner g to do the two at them bottom.
@Whiteandsonsgarage I have the bolts completely loose and they run into the sub frame before coming out of the bracket....
@@austinwoodside there should be space to get them out, are the two top bolts undone?
I guess it's just seized to the brackets cuz I can't move it at all, hammer time
@@austinwoodside good luck, hopefully it comes out
Dude helped me so much saved $529
Yes use 5 more cans than normal so you can take it off easy?
Yeah what ever works
Wow that sounds cost effective
Lighting is poor...
Thanks
I never saw a Jeep with carpet until I bought a 2003 Wrangler. Previous 4 wheel drive vehicles I had driven were either bare metal or rubber/vinyl flooring, so one could wash out the constant mud and dog vomit. I still have the Wrangler but no dogs. After all these years, the carpet is about as nasty as can be imagined. It has got to go. Carpet in a Jeep just seems like a really dumb idea.
Rubber floor would be absolutely amazing
Couple stainless cable tie downs will be my back up. mine just failed while in the bush this weekend. Jeep should get this sorted, crap design or poor selection of material used to make the clips is not cool.
Yeah absolutely, something a bit better than plastic

PREP PAINT BEFORE INSTALL!!! THEY RUST IN 24HRS!!!
Crazy what they were gonna charge me To to do it at the shop when a fella on CZcams shows how it’s done for free
Yep absolutely, definitely a bit of work to get it done.
Good way to ruin the threads
Thank you for the video it helped me remove mine. It came off fairly easily even without having to use the oil filter removal tool. I did order one along with the replacement shift knob from Amazon. When the knob arrived, I was too excited to wait for the tool so I just twisted and pulled as hard as I could and lo and behold it popped right off. I was able to change out the shifter even before my oil tool arrived (which I'm still waiting for now). so much happier now that the shifter doesn't move when I shift gears. ☺
No problem at all, glad I could help, thanks for the comment really appreciate it.
Any tips on what to look for leaking water front passenger side... Only happens after air conditioning used...also the fan seems to operate even while switched off...
There should always be a little bit of water after the AC has been on, it’s the condensation. Is the fan still on when the car is off?
Legendary! I'm planning on replacing my compressor soon, all the other videos I've seen say to undo the subframe to remove it, this does seem MUCH better to do.
Thanks really appreciate it, i tried the subframe way and I didn’t get anywhere. This so much better for me.
Lol your so funny , you litterly just get a grinder out and cut the piece off the fan and then it fits right out , fuck that stupid ass fan
I found this very helpful, thanks Ingemar
Glad i could help. Thanks for the comment.
Is there a trick to the four wheel drive knob? I've got the main shift knob off.I cannot get the forewill drive knob off
My one took a bit to get off, just keep working at it.
Nice video, but you removed the fender flares not the fenders.
Thank you.
No problem, hope it helped
Good luck. Spent an hour and no way does that just come out! I can see the wheel and rotor coming off.
What year is your Jeep? Has it got any rust?
2012 and yes here in Nova Scotia there is rust. Removed wheel and rotor cut the old sensor in half with a mini grinder. Put the flex extension on my Dremel and honed the hole. New sensor slipped right in as shown. Just have to find a new red clip. Lost tension on removal and won't hold. Zip tie moment for now.
@@berniehatt8338 yeah nice, That’s definitely one way to get it out. Yeah that red clip can easily break.
This hinges suck, them hinges screws keep getting loose by opening the door a few times
Great video knocked this out today on my mom’s crv
Awesome , happy I could help. Thanks really appreciate the comment.
Omg you are a life saver, im pretty sure my ac compressor is gone ao im going to get it professionally diagnosed before i do anything and if it is this will make it so much easier for me to replace
No problem at all, glad I could help, let me know how it works out. Thanks
Would you know the weight limit for these ultimate? I can’t seem to find this info on any website. Thanks.
That’s a really good question, I would say around 300kg, I have had my Jeep over them many times and have had zero issues. That is just from my experience with them. I can’t see anything online about a weight limit. Hope that helps. Thanks
Did you mean 3000 kg or 300 kg. 300 seem light.
@@bhduong2008 yes sorry 3000kg, it took the weight off the car, one on each side
Maybe I missed it - why can't you just fold the rear seat forward?
I have baby seats in the back
Are you still running these boards? How have the mounting pins themselves held up, I'm concerned that being plastic, and not metal like the Maxtrax pin, they might crack or the thread type push down lock piece might eventually wear & become less effective at holding them down tight.
Hey, yep still on the can now and still working well, I haven’t noticed any problems with them yet. Thank
No paint under where the tailgate hinges go...a perfect example of the shite build quality of jeeps, and why every single after market mod is better than whatever comes with your jeep. I know, I know, I own two JKs. Never again.
Yeah most factory stuff is crap, it’s built to be replaced. I have just sold my Jeep and I do miss it but also don’t regret it.
Thanks for showing how to unclip the harness on the motor end.
Whomever had my jk prior to me took off the doors, but didn’t put the nuts back on and now the pins are all rust and I can’t get the doors off…yet. I’m going to replace the pins and nuts once I get them off.
That sucks, love when people do that, hope you can get them off. Good luck
Good job, I have a 43 Willys Jeep and the flopping around drives me nuts and I go at 50 miles an hour or a little bit more. I will give it a try thanks.
No problem at all. Hope it works for you. Let me know if it helps.
Paint remover works better
Don’t use water on them as they will rust. Do not use WD-40 as dust and dirt will stick to them. The proper thing to use to clean them is isopropyl alcohol.
Thank you, really appreciate the tip, will definitely do that. Thanks
Thank you sir.
Cool idea. That raggedy sponge will make me mad I’m sure
Thanks, haha yeah absolutely
Woohoo thanks for that both your windshield wiper removal vid and this are solid gold, had to clean the leaves under it and it was not fun
Thanks really appreciate it.
I have a 2006 lj hardtop. Most of it looks faded/ grey. But parts of it are splotchy with what looks like either some kind of coating that was applied along time ago, or possibly even clear coat paint? It’s hard to describe. My question is do you think I could just apply with after cleaning the top. Or do I somehow need to remove the previous coating before I apply something like this. My fear is if it dosnt look uniform before applying this the darker/ splotchy areas will look darker than the rest of the hard top. And if you were to try to get the darker areas off do you have any suggestions for taking it off? I thought possibly paint thinner. Or sanding it or maybe a scuff pad? Idk I’m just scared that trying to remove the darker areas no matter which method I use will create along her area with either streaks or possibly a different color than the rest of the faded top 😂 any insight would mean the world to me thanks
Thanks for the comment, it’s very to tell what’s on the hardtop without seeing it in person. I would try and avoid sanding it if you could. I would try and give it a good deep clean and maybe a clay bar to remove any high spots in the paint. Not 100% if that will work. Sorry it’s a bit hard with out actually seeing it.
@@Whiteandsonsgarage I found out using a scuff pad will make it all look uniform as long as I don’t “burn through” the paint. But I can’t even find Mr black anywhere in the USA 😭
@@areject17 oh nice, have a looks at the Bowdens own website. I think they ship around the world.
@@Whiteandsonsgarage yeah. But when I checked that they wanted $800 for shipping 😂
@@areject17 oh hahaha probably not worth it.

In the not too distant past, in the southern U.S., everyone waved at everyone else while driving.
What about now?
Hi There... I use the spongy sandpaper block sold in the Hardware Store. Moisten with water and lay flat on the lettering while scrubbing. Works very fast and great results.
Thanks, I’ll give that a go next time.
