I just stumbled on your channel, and I like what I've seen so far. Always good to see more horror anthology content. But as far as this particular episode goes, I'm not a big fan. It didn't resonate with me because the twist ending just feels shoehorned in solely for the purpose of having a twist. In my opinion a good twist ending is one where you're caught off guard on your first watch, but when you watch it a second time you discover foreshadowing you missed before. However, I don't feel like that's the case here - the episode doesn't seem to have any hints whatsoever that the family are monsters, so the ending takes a huge left turn and just feels bad.

I watched Goosebumps and AYAOTD growing up and really enjoyed them both. In my opinion, Goosebumps is meant to be a little funnier and light-hearted than AYAOTD, which can be really creepy and actually scary sometimes. 😅
