Why does the AI pronounce poggers correctly but then fail at pogchampionship.
This video has an updated opener (as in, there is no opener. You just cast feel the burn once at the start instead of with fresh air buff to get the aura 10% damage buff early), since the old one was bad. I am aiming for 35k+ for the real bench for now.

Not very clean. I hate this. So what's happening here? Basically using water attunements to bridge the wildfire cooldown so it aligns with storm glyph and stuff, then in the second half I don't do that because it naturally aligns after for the finisher. Didn't grind it a crazy amount as I am not sure this is the best rotation. Requirement here was to use Heat Sync in the rotation so I made a rotation that can use it off cooldown, at the cost of some dps of course. Why do you position the area of the overload air slighly away from the golem? does that change anything on the dps numbers?
It still hits the golem, the visual is just slightly smaller than the actual hitbox size of the skill. You want to be far away for a slight dps gain: - Lightning orb hits multiple times as it travels, up to 15 times on this size golem hitbox - Phoenix takes a while to travel to the boss when you stand further away, giving you enough time to swap back to Air Attunement for higher damage modifiers -> increasing the damage of each Phoenix cast

Nice cooking! My favorite rota for practical use so far. You can always just swap back and forth between "normal" loops and heat sync loops aswell. I tend to use normal loops until there is need for heat sync like split phases or something.
It was a bit awkward to come up with a consistent heat sync rota, and there is probably better ways to go about it. The main problem here was that alac uptime with all this non-overload time is really taking a hit. On the golem it's already tight enough.
@@Blackbupf True, tho i didnt really notice the alac drop. Probably because i default to 10-15% more BD than the optimal build just to be safe.
@@floatgolom3719 Yep, that'd be it. I run 22%bd because that was the very minimum to keep up alacrity without a split second of dropping it here. I'd recommend 28% in real encounters if you still wanna tryhard the damage, otherwise 34% is a nice spot at which you create alacrity buffers, and any more than that is just personal preference.
Nice bench brother! Shouldnt it always be better to open fire OL though? Like it may be some dps loss at the golem but way faster might cap in encounters.
If you are required to ramp up might for your subgroup, then go for it! This is literally just a core loop that can be modified to your needs as most skills aren't being used actively. Most changes are of course a change in dps!

It does less dps. And arcane gets 12% boon duration for free. No worries, an updated version of this is coming shortly for a real preliminary benchmark. This one has a wrong opener. The page might need some time to update as I am not the one doing that, aswell as the thumbnail for the video.

Just theoretically how much dps loss is no fire shout?
Not sure for this alac build specifically. Shout itself does dps but it gives aura uptime which is very important. Fire traitline also gives a fire aura for free every fire attunement, so not sure how the uptime looks without the shout. I'd just keep it as it generates might and fury which is a nice thing to bring as boondps. If anything probably replace storm glyph

99% of my runs end before I get to the first number. I was hunting for more 51k+ openers before continuing but I just got tired of grinding for that and decided to finish a few runs. If I did that more I probably would have way more and way higher benches.

Hey, do you know if something changed with alacrity recently? When I took this build 2 weeks ago the alacrity felt much more comfortable than it does now and I didn’t change anything. Feels like the alacrity pulses are shorter

Why do u go melee in fire?
To try and get sunspot hits and try to have wildfire hit earlier, as it spreads over time and I preferably want the first field to start damaging as early as possible to get the damage modifier from persistent flames faster. There's also some other minor personal problems I have with standing at 360 range as an alac support so I simply didn't want to do it all the time.

I dont see any diviner gear. will it keep 100% alacrity easily? this sceptor warhorn power alac seems really amazing.
With arcane you get extra boon duration from the traitline. So you have 28% boon duration with full dps gear.

Update: Since this vid was a few weeks old I decided to redo it, with better opener and better results: czcams.com/video/ew9xug_f6yk/video.html Just noticed there was some alacrity at the start. This was not from the console, it was left over from a previous attempt. If anything, this should show how much alacrity this actually generates instead of being super tight on alac uptime. After an attempt there's between 15-20s alacrity left over, and that is without the use of earth 4.
