The cover is satin floral embroidery sewn to designer card, was a cushion cover. Some vintage pages, postcards and cheques. Most of the ephemera is handmade.     I’m sorry don’t mean to bother you but if you embellish after you bind it how do you get the book in the sewing machine to sew on pages, Rita

      Hi Rita, no bother at all. I've been asked this question a few times. If I include a page sewn, I glue it onto an existing page. The ruffles are pre-sewn onto strips of off-cuts. I then glue the ruffles to the edges of my pages. Thanks for asking Rita xxxx

      I used to but find it easier now to bind the journal first, then space out ruffles, put in pockets/tucks/envelopes, then large ephemera, and from there I decorate/embellish to finish off. Thanks for taking a peek xxx
