Mark's playing and songwriting are lessons in touch, taste and melody. His album with Chet Atkns demonstrates his amazing ability on the guitar but what I love most is the restraint and lack of guitarist ego he shows in his songs. If it doesn't sound beautiful, he doesn't play it. Wonderful bloke and an inspiration to me. 👍

--at 77 years old I’ve drifted towards playing with fingers instead of hybrid pick/fingers, largely because of MK…he is king of tone, and it just feels so “organic” with fingers! Thanks, Mark 🎶🙏

Paul couldn't even play bass until he joined the band but ended up dropping some of the best lines in music history. London Calling, The Call Up and Train in Vain in particular are nothing without the bass. He's so genuine, very few musicians as humble as him.

I have loved this man and his band for about 45 years. I was born in London in 1974 and my dear belated dad Eddie introduced me to them in 1978 when I was four. It is so great to see Mark is still the most modest, kind and humble musicician out there.

MK is my favorite musician of all time, to me he's in a league entirely of his own and when Friday comes and I'm having my two 6-packs and a couple of spliffs after work I listen to somewhere between 30-40 of his songs before I even consider to put on another artist.

What are the loadspeakers? did have a photo of john lydon with the same speakers.Also in the photo was Bob Marley's LP "Natty dread"

I saw them in 82, the concert changed my life, and I remember spending a lot of time staring at Paul, who was the best looking man I'd ever seen in my life at that point. Not to take away from the music of course, what a band!

Thank you Def Leppard for the August 16th concert here in San Antonio❤️. I know it was a hotter than h*ll day/night out, $16 for a beer, $50 for a tshirt and $60 for a sweat shirt but so worth being broke over for the rest of the month. THANK YOU ALL!

This was a fantastic interview!! I've listened to many from Joe and this is the most detail I remember him going into about the early days of Def Leppard. Love it! Hope to hear the next part about Hysteria someday!
