Pretty much nailed it coach. Hoping Connor Mac will be back for the finals as it will allow Jackson to play a little further up the field. Loved seeing Tristan Binder back in the A's and really good to see him playing well. We'll be there Friday night....Go Leggies.

I'd like to know what exactly will be changed in training to improve our 'more often than not' atrocious conversion of goal scoring opportunities?! It's vital we convert these opportunities to goals on the scoreboard especially duento the hard defensive contested style of game we play as it's rare for any team to be able to play that style over 4 qtrs week in & out! Also I haven't seen our players miss or not hold the ball in with tackling as much as on Saturday, so hope the lads freshen up & work on improving the above when back at it next week. I have been thinking the same thing, it's not over by any means.

The Crows thrashed us in a final a couple of years ago by 55 points and we beat them a few weeks later with an eleven goal turn around. Hopefully we will learn from the weekend and do it again. Go Legs!

A great team effort on Sunday. A big shout out to Jacko for his unselfish play deep in the forward line when he shielded his direct opponent away from the ball allowing McLean and Twelftree to take easy marks near the goal square. No stats for Jacko, but his efforts did not go unnoticed by those of us on Cooper's Hill.

Good on you Jack. A wonderful attitude to life in general and your desire to be playing football.

I've been watching Norwood games since 1968 and that quarter is one of the best I've ever seen. The memory isn't as good as it once was so I can't say it is THE best.... but it would be way up there considering it was Sturt at Unley!

Best thing about it was that Keith Thomas was a rabid (are there any other kind at Alberton) Port Adelaide fan in his youth. After his playing days were over he went into administrative and eventually became a long term CEO of Port Power in the extended VFL competition.

There were night football matches played in Melbourne well before 1954.

Just watched this several times. Always thought the story was that John Wynne cleaned up Jack Oatey in the dug out. Well, to me it looks like Wynne goes on a spasmodic rampage throwing elbows at a couple of players & then overruns (perhaps purposely) toward the Sturt bench, but is met pretty heavily by someone who stands up & puts him on his arse. Then its all a bit of push me shove you & harsh words.
