Would this camera work with an overhead camera mount or is it too big and heavy? I just bought one of these from a government auction and I paid about $500 including the lens. I bought it over in the I bought it instead of a Handycam or a mirrorless because of the interchangeable lens mount, and professional features like XLR inputs.

Great to see these side by side. Nice compare. I can detect some slight stutter on the NX 30 during movement, which the PXW is smoother, but the PXW has some subtle amateur pixelation during tracking. They are both a step up from vlogging camcorders, and maybe ok for sport, but I don't think suitable for action with smooth transitions. I wouldn't want to use these for music videos, short movies or anything production level beyond still capture.

The soils build over millennia because of the rotting organic material left by trees and other vegetation. When we strip off that vegetation our soils cease to build. New Forest growing in these areas are compromised. Treated Forest burn with greater severity than do protected forest. All remaining unlogged Forest should be protected. Are you on auto white balance on all you example shots? Seems Auto WB nails it outside, but indoors and under florescents, not so good?

For those of you who didnt notice, you can do cross-eye stereoview to get a really cool 3d effect with the footage of the two cameras!

I'm researching the barons de Ros of Helmsley. My family uses the name Ross and I read that William de Ros the 3rd baron ross accompanied the Gromont Duke of Lancaster to Prussia on crusade in the year 1325 and did not return. My family. at least the Rosses migrated from Prussia where they lived in about 1672. The name of the barons de Ros(Roos, Rosse) was also spelled Roos the name of north York Mores Yorkshire. All the barons de Ros 1st through 10th were knights, 1 knight of the bath, 2 knights of the Garter and 1 was a Knights Templar buried at the Temple Church London. I wonder if any baron de Ros(Roos) migrated to Prussia or owned property in Prussia when it was a monastic state ruled by the Teutonic Knights(German Knights of St Mary of Jerusalem) during the Prussian crusade? Did any of the de Ros start using the name ROSS or Rus? Any further information would be great, thank you.

If U read this: I had the X70 for some years, but suddenly it stopped working. I talked with pro service people in Denmark (they repair cameras for TV channels). They guessed that the mainboard was gone (price 800Euro) and they charge 100 Euro per hour, so I had to discard it. Price was more than 2.000 Euro ex VAT. Now I have the sony AX53 and it is also fine for my purpose - filming my self face, speak to camera I call it.
