If I enable Hibernate mode on my laptop, do I need to do it each time or is it a one-time setup? If my MacBook starts acting up weird after enabling Hibernate mode, how can I undo it?

If you have an old MacBook Like me. The Apple icon will have system preferences. Click on it. Then click on the the multiple square boxes at the top to go to the homepage of settings you can simply just click the settings icon and it’ll take you there too. Anyways after that click battery 🔋 then click power Adapter if your charger isn’t in. If you settings is lock Then click on the lock 🔒 icon to unlock the setting. Then at the top drag it to never or whatever time you want to set it on and once you done click back the 🔒 icon to save your settings

Even though lots of resolutions appear in the list, I can’t change to anything, only 640x480 works, even though it’s a samsung 1080p monitor plugged in with hdmi. I’m guessing that the macbook for some reason doesn’t recognize it as an HD-monitor. I have no idea what to do about it since unlike windows or linux there isn’t drivers to be installed or fiddled with when it comes to macbook. It works without fuss when connected to a Windows-laptop.

So how do you do the format thing? do you need a laptop or something?
