Just found your channel. It's always good to find black perspectives on sci-fi shows. In defense of Discovery, the focus of the show is on the science/engineer officers because the USS Discovery is a science vessel, and overall plot requires the expertise of the science and engineer officers.The show doesn't have a character development problem. The focus just isn't on the bridge crew. Also, Discovery uses Book's ship for away missions. He's basically a second pilot and their spore drive operator.

Masterful! I was in love with David Bowie in the movie but I am completely enthralled by the performances and the full emersion this series provides for its viewers.

Obi-Wan was straight garbage...Vader not killing Reva was straight 🗑️...Vader choke lifted her into the air because she failed to secure Obi-Wan and then goes on to say don't fail me again next time I won't be merciful... And then she straight up betrays him and he's like okay I'll let you live like wtf? 🗑️ the fight ended with Obi-Wan just walking away from Vader? That's it it doesn't end with one or both going over a cliff with either of them not knowing if the other survived but instead Obi-Wan is supposed to protect Luke and Leia but decides to leave their genocidal father alive risking him finding out that they exist and leaving him to spread another decade of bloodshed smh 🗑️.... And then Qui-Gon Jinn's goofy ass showing up at the end like "I've been here the whole time you just couldn't see me yet"...ummm bitch all this was your fault you needed to show your ass up and acknowledge your failure not show up when it was all said and done like "wow that was a rough one huh Obi-Wan? Talking about putting all your chips on black and not winning" smh 🗑️🔥 this made me hate Obi-Wan the character for me is no longer someone I want to like that's how much damage this BS series has done to the franchise for me... The only redeemable character in this was the Grand Inquisitor which I thought was going to be trash too, dude did a good job... And the soft ass nature of the inquisitors man it's sad that they were more hardcore in the animated

Yes! I agree with you whole heartedly! I know my family’s history and I love history. Sally Hemings and Thomas Jefferson lived during this time period. We as a world we’re going through the worst of the pandemic. I also love Disney World! And yes my family watched all the different soap operas growing up as well!

The actor for Mat was taken off the cast after episode six, and he's been re cast by another actor. No one knows what happened with the actor for sure, but all his social media is done now. The filming had to shut down twice because of Covid and there was a lot of issues this caused, like not being allowed to have as many extras they wanted for the battle at the end, and filming locations no longer being available to the crew. Thanks for the entertaining review! Also, if you watch through the series, the peddler from episode one can be seen hidden in the scenes following the cast all through the show. Listen for his whistle if you watch again.

I really liked this film 2. The acting by Tessa and Ruth was top notch, cinematography was beautiful. I agree with Lend, I enjoyed Shang-Chi when I watched it in theaters but on second viewing at home I was falling asleep, the second act has some pacing issues.
