How to open the data?
Is it safe to short circuit an array, as opposed to a single panel, for amperage testing? I have reservations shorting a 80 volt 10 amp array.
In a serial circuit, how did you get 10A in one part of the serial circuit and 6A in another part of the serial circuit? I'd say your diagram is wrong...

Irradiance*IMP/1000=amperage you should be getting for the string based off the amount of light
Can IV curve tracing be done by PV150?
Nom PV150 doesn't have this feature.
I know this video is from 2019, but we are seeing now commercial installs with modules that have 18.5A Isc. Does seawad have a device for this levels of current?

As a expert, what kind of tests shall be added in off-shore project? Did you have ever thought that?
Hi, When I import the data from the PV 150 into the Solar Data logger the data is separated by commas. I get an error in SolarCert. I then import the data into csv so that it appears in columns. SolarCert imports my string data. When I create a report after choosing a PV module the IV curve shows the IV curve for Nom only. Not STC and no measured data even though the measured string data is displayed below the graph.
Had the same issue. Just make the default delimeter of windows from comma to fullstop (,) to (.)
silly and incorrect you cant loose amps in the string
The video refers to Isc not Opertaional current I'vee used this method hundred of times and found hundreds of faults.
short or operational does not matter ,amps are not lost in the circuit . best to short the inverter DC plugs and measure voltage drop across switches
@@chrismurphy7324 Tell me then, how does the Residual Current Breaker (RCB) works? When you have a fault you "give an extra path" to that current flow. You are right when you say amps are not lost in the circuit, but when you have a fault your circuit changes. You add a node on your circuit, that's why your current changes.

why do we always need to fill the serial number of pv 210 the time we make a report in solarcert
You need to install the software as an administrator, the license key won't write to the windows registry otherwise. Hope this helps!
