Rest in Peace Ricky Jay - you were one of the greats. The first "player" was an idiot. He could have played his part and played a hand with the great Ricky Jay. Instead, the doofus wanted to talk instead of play cards.
I bet there was a lot more dealing and cutting going on behind the scenes here 😂
Wow impossible
I know who this is but why is he being so rude I don’t get the trick
POV: Your dad is helping you with math homework
The man wants to play some cards!
🔥
For his strature, Ricky sure can intimidate anybody.. Such a master at audience management.. Miss you, master.. 😔🙏🏻
The most aggressive con man ever!!! 😂
too bad the footage is old and lowsy. this guy is awesome
Michael are you still with us?
You still have all your hair
the card actually there but we couldn’t see it
Anything can disappear with that camera lol
This video has the best thumbnail ever.
if this was easy we’d all be Ricky Jay, the man was a genius
Hahaha What is happening?
James Joyce, Einstein lol... that makes no sense. Cool performance though!
Why not? They were all modern masters in their fields
This is what you call a magician's magician. He has perfect sleight of hand a simple but amazing trick and it has an engaging presentation.
On peut si on le veut aisément deviner, mais quelle maîtrise de dextérité.
por fin medi cuenta de como era
Rest in peace, Ricky!❤
Perfect.
Omg the switch was invisible. I love it
If this video proved anything, it's that Ricky Jay has more money than I thought possible
Rest in peace. I loved this man's work
Some stunning second deals and the man himself doing the “Elmsley Count”. Perfect!! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
What is even more perfect is the fact that there is NO Elmsley count in this trick.
It's an amazingly simple trick. All you have to do is make sure the other guy gets the "old maid"... once they have that card, you can leave everything in their hands and they will always lose.
What is the old maid
@@johnmichaelcolon It's like that game Old Maid, where all the cards are pairs except for the old maid... whoever has her in their hand at the end loses. In this trick, there's just one card of the bunch that doesn't makes pairs or straights with anything and whoever has it will have the losing hand no matter what other cards they end up with.
@@Kragatar thanks a lot
@@Kragatar So how do you force the old main into their hand?
You know you're out of shape if you get winded playing cards. :-P
Beautiful.
really no need for the slow motion i cant even see the card before it vanishes lol
I love his laugh at the end.
like
this is the best example of mind control you will ever see.
Rest in peace Ricky Jay.
Genius!
R.I.P Ricky Jay
Such a cool cat
eazy
Yo!!!!!
He did lots of color change routines didnt he?
like thanks for sharing
This is one of my favorite effects. I perform it often, but nothing compares to seeing Alex Elmsley perform it!
Who is this douchebag that thought he was smarter than Ricky Jay?
Are you referring to the only guy who was smart enough to keep Ricky from taking his money?
It's not about thinking you're smarter... it's about knowing that something fishy is going on and keeping your guard up.
A master vs ignorant amateurs, that's about it.
Damn Ricky, chill.
While I'm sure that is how a con man would act, I just don't see how anyone would ever bet money with someone who clearly is cheating. As soon as he went down to 10 cards it was obvious he was performing a con of some kind. And it became blatantly obvious when he insisted on a specific shuffling/cutting of the deck.
lol. Yea he got you. You have no idea what you are talking about. He was NOT cheating in anyway. I know because I do a 10 card poker deal routine myself. I created 4 diff. versions.
lol vallarino jeune
i love it
READ THE TITLE AND DESCRIPTION BEFORE YOU COMMENT, PEOPLE. A Correctly Structured Drama This shows a very different side of Ricky - that of the conman. THIS IS AN ACT. HE IS PLAYING THE ROLE OF A GRIFTER.
People's stupidity amazes me..
Grifters don't get angry.
@@grazie-dc6we The current president surely proves this statement false. Lol!
No. This has been edited from the BBC original. You cut out the documentary crew and the car rides to these producer clowns’ houses ... Ricky’s short temper was no act. He was famously difficult w people he felt beneath his intellect.
