just finished this mission, this game really got its moment here IMO, "FOR YARIKAWA! ", actually I felt english dub is more impactful here, jap dub felt just like some generic anime protagonist to me in this part, i donno maybe just me. anyway, moment like this really gave this game some identity I guess.

This story about what Donavan did seemed like it was added on to make you feel more of the story but i just don't see it I could see Donovan threatening the vc and scaring them into talking but i truly feel this was just added to the story by the writers Donavan had a good heart when he was in Nam, what he did was purely for the citizens and military I feel strongly connected to this game but i just don't agree this is what wouldve happened

The fact that they started running is epic

I love the fact that some time before this, Jin is like “I can’t face an army that big on my own.” And then after this moment, he proceeds to slaughter pretty much an entire army’s worth by himself (with help from the Yarikawa samurai of course, but you can tell me he wasn’t leading the charge). A village of like a 100 people (even fewer properly trained) drove back an army of a thousand because of ONE man. Also I like that after the Ghost Stance scene when Jin takes the lead, every enemy dies in one or two hits even in hard mode. They give you a massive buff to your attack after this moment, which is cool cause I feel that represents Jin’s bravery and resolve.

If we could only had a standalone game with Donovan. Freaking badass !

I think leaving town is the ending that meant to be from the start but I like the fact that even in the more greedy endings they made it like sure he is now in charge and runs everything but he still haven't forgotten about the little people and at least does some good with all that money and power because thats really Lincoln's personality, he is a people's man I think what happened with the ending rule alone is sorta a slap of some sort from the devs to players who choose it because they did in fact get too much greedy and on top of that forgot the people that actually helped him get where he got

I always felt Jin was never actually a Samurai. Sure he was raised as one but in his heart all he wanted to do was protect ppl that can’t protect themselves. For that he could become whatever he had to, as in the ghost. A true Samurai wouldn’t go so far as he did. He literally abandoned everything he was. His whole identity was gone away. He could literally do anything for his people but a samurai would have a line which he or she wouldn’t cross, Jin does. To me he was literally vengeance of the ppl of Tushima. In his heart we was always the saviour first and then Samurai. A samurai would be a samurai first and then everything else. So how I see it is he was never really a samurai ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

I can't remember much about when I played this game and finished it but... I remember at this moment I was smiling like a psychotic bastard feeling great.

Just finished this quest 10 minutes ago and I had to set my PS on rest mode to take a breather, calm down the chill that went through my body and internalize the pure epicness that I have just witnessed.

Every fucking time i replay this game i'm just waiting to see this mission appear in my main quests This is by far the most epic moment of the game
