Why didn’t you test the version with skis, I’ve been having problems with mine. On a snowy runway the plane won’t move even at full throttle. I’m curious if I missed something or if it’s bugged that’s why I wanted to see it in this video.

I have had flight sim premium deluxe disc version successfully working since I purchased it in 2020 on a PC . I have NOT purchased airport addons. About 6 weeks ago after a standard FS update which ''stuttered on download" two major problems occurred, 1.I had some aircraft where you could not see out the cockpit due to a chequered effect, basically cockpit screen replaced by solid chequered colours AND some aircraft had some external chequering. This I cured by removing, as directed in various FS blogs, all folders starting with fs-base-???? in the packages folder, in my case in "C:\XboxGames\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Content\Packages" yes I use a PC NOT xbox! When I restarted FS it automatically repaired the folders, but the I lost all my ground staff and vehicles (some not all air bridges work). Will this rather complicated solution work for me to cure it? Surely after so long MS must have rectified it by know. Clearly the issue was caused by an MS FS update that lost some of the files from the PC. Reluctant to do this cure as I suspect it will leave some bugs, so a complete reinstall may be the answer. Tried it once since and it doesn't ask for any discs to be reinstalled and took only 20 minutes...I'm baffled and frustrated! I feel over £120 wasted!

Is there a way to follow the GPS, the course I plotted in the msfs map menu before entering the flight, I click on the "NAV" / "LNAV" button, but nothing happens, it just jumps back to "HDG" mode, argggg, so frustrating!

what if i dont like simbrief but i like to use V2? how will i load my flight plan from the world menu page to the MCDU?

Vid: 7:33 - If you select the *Confirm to data button* on the right side, it loads up the take off speeds, saves you typing it in. All you do is input your flaps preferences.

If you have not done a lot of VFR in DC and in Maryland I suggest you give it a try to see what the scenery generation engine in MSFS 2024 might look like. For huge parts of the state of Maryland, gone are the cpu generated buildings and in their place is a perfect 1 for 1 recreation. Every house, building, park, etc. It is all in there. The trees are better, the roads, better, the map tiles are much better. It is like playing a new sim. All of DC is like this as well as parts of Virginia.

At 5:20 choose A320-251N and the pull down menu just to right select the Inibuilds A320NEO V2 option. The author left it on default. Not sure if it makes any difference but it should.

i CALL BS... maybe you're from UK? Of course, you received update one day prior to US simmers. I automatically received forced update (NO TIME TO REMOVE FILES/APPS FROM THE COMMUNITY FOLDER). UPDATE 1.37.19.0 IN USA WAS JUNE 18, 2024, plus RELEASE NOTES AVERRED: NO CONTENT, NO FIX and yes there was the note to move files from Community Folder (READ while their auto update was downloading). However, Asobo locks the (curser from doing anything) auto-updated and auto reboots before user can move content from community folder!!!!!

everything froze after importing. What a sim. Wish we would get some support. Not a new sim. I spent way to much on my pc to have this many issues.

Similar trick can be used if your MSFS install gets a bit corrupted and you want to reinstall from scratch. Just rename the 'Official' folder in the video to something else. Uninstall MSFS. Re-install... select the same location when it asks where you want to install the Packages. When the installation begins to download all the packages again, close the installer, delete the new 'Official' folder and rename the original one back to 'Official' When you run the installer again, it will see that everything is where it should be in the Official folder and nothing will need to be downloaded.

It asked me for a pilot id but i put that in and it didnt want that, i put in my alias and it worked but its not loading my flight plan. Is there something i need to know?

Whenever i request the plan in the mcdu, after a while evrything will go blank in the init page qnd flight plan page

I had a lot of problems after update 15 (staying forever on opening page, searching for updates). This seems solved.

I highly suspect there was some major bug fixes. A lot of people were experiencing crash to desktop, stuck on checking for updates and lost connection. I did absolutely every fix possible without success. I even did a complete reinstall of my computer and MSFS without luck. The issues affected both my pc and Xbox. I even saw a couple of CZcams suffer the lost connection issue while streaming. Lastly, since the issue was happening on both PC and Xbox I took the drastic step of deleting all my cloud data thus destroying all my logs and completely unrecoverable. Yesterday I was getting ready to repeat my steps when I saw an update. To my surprise after the update everything worked. Microsoft needs to be 100% transparent with problems and do a better job of posting searchable fixes. I found CZcamsrs, like yourself, give better advice than Zendesk. Sorry for rambling on but I am really ticked off with Microsoft.

Pure trash! Why must the update be mandatory?

After the update I've been having nearly constant 'Connection Lost' and 'Not Enough Bandwidth, Switching to Offline Mode' errors. The sim is unplayable. I have a solid 650Mb/s up/down internet connection.

It made my MSFS reset 😢 I needed to set all my settings, controls and such again....

Seems i am lucky. All my planes are still there, just like all my 3rd party addons! *hooray*!

Guys ... general rule about MSFS updates is - empty your Community folder (move to backup one for example) install update , quit sim , move stuff back and run MSFS again ..everything should be OK .

It makes it very sad when WORLD MAP is on a different AIRAC to SIMBRIEF which is still 2306. Utter crap!
