Mafia 2 (Chapter 14, HARD) - How to SKIP the docks/Derek fight (READ DESCRIPTION)
PS4 (1.02)
1. Make sure you have at least 27,500 when starting chapter 14. I amassed this much (plus some extra that I never ended up using) in the beginning of chapter 12 by giving cars to Derek.
2. Instead of going to Greenview, go to Joe's place. Park your car in the garage, then ring Joe's doorbell. This is not supposed to happen until much later so you skip several objectives.
I did this on my very first playthrough (which was on Hard difficulty), and the 'Tough Nut' trophy unlocked just fine at the end.
However, this also skips the 'Out for Justice' and 'The Mafia Never Forgets' story-related trophies. If you didn't get those already on a previous playthrough, simply replay Chapter 14 on Easy after you're done with Hard, like I did.
There's a common bad bug at the end of the chapter, where you must pay Bruno, but the game won't let you pay him. Having the 27,500 from the beginning of the chapter pretty much guarantees that this bad bug WON'T happen to you, so that's one more reason to follow this method.

It's a buggy trophy but thankfully you can start a new game and get it in like 20 minutes. Just get to the main road (0:00 - 0:59), then follow the main road until you reach the point at 10:53. After that point, follow my path. Everybody's Gone To The Rapture (PS4)

this takes place in chapter 5 after the race. You can see one of the racers being beaten, presumably he lost them a lot of money. you can see the same animation (2 cops kicking a prisoner) in chapter 17 after sniping Hank Turnbull, if u know where to look

Best 100% Hard mode walkthrough on the net. If you keep dying at the last part before entering the last door, it's because of your sanity. Right after standing in the pentagram, go to the near by table and stare at the candle for a few minutes until your sanity goes up to "sleep slight headache". After that,you can finish off the second pentagram and the game. Subscribing!

made it on pc. you don't have to play a death metal blastbeat on the keyboard, just keep pushing F and space alternately in the right rhythm - not too fast, not too slow.
@@cudnoredje1 I think you can tie the jump or Grab command to your mouse's scroll wheel and just scroll to do it quickly. Not a pc gamer, could be totally wrong
i dunno, it might work but i think there's no need to remap the keys, because contrary to popular opinion speed is not the only solution for pc players. i tried blastbeating the shit out of the keyboard and it didn't worked. i even surprised myself by managing to do it without speedclicking or any tricks (except one you showed in this video - thank you for that).

@@agvsss0 When you're done with the story, just go to Chapter Select from the main menu. Note that a chapter only becomes available there after you've completed it (not when you've started it), so if you use chapter select before completing the story, you'll end up having to redo an entire chapter.

Thanks for the comment! Yes, this *probably* was the most tiresome video I've ever made. I regretted starting the project like halfway in, or even earlier, but it was too late to stop. I think it only took like 5 days to make but it felt longer, since on those 5 days I did nothing apart from working on this damn guide lol

what do you mean by dark + 8 and the other settings which have + something?
It means that, starting from the default setting, you'll move him 8 times toward the darker side. Either left or right, i dont remember which side is dark.
