Just a run-of-the-mill hobbyist who dabbles in Tech-related How-To videos, DIYs, Reviews/Unboxing, Product Testing, Basic Electronics and Arduino-related stuff that are mostly catered for beginners, plus a pinch of random stuff here and there.
I do beginner-friendly DIY and Programming projects from time to time.
I upload new videos every week (if I can) and I also take long breaks because I have a full-time job and that takes priority. (Gotta' pay the bills, bruh. Life is hard)
I try my best to reply to all the comments on all the videos.

We Don't Need To Make Things Complicated | RSYNC [How-To]
Wield the power of RSYNC by just using a single line of code.
Do take note that you can use various combinations of options to fit your own use case.
For my usage, I couple it with bash aliases, so that I can have the ability to just sync/backup certain folders everytime I want to.
Yes, I don't really automate stuff when it comes to syncing things, because doing it that way had saved me more than a few times from losing some files.

DELUX "SEEKER" M618XSD w/ OLED [UNBOXING, TESTS & REVIEW]

All things considered, I think I like this mouse. It took me more or less than 5 months to finish this video, because of my freelance work. I only had a few hours every Monday to work on it little by little, and I've been sidetracked a lot as well. I also had quite the dilemma on whether if I should trim down the video and lose some parts of the context, or just keep it as is for the full story...

This is my first custom, wireless, and opensource mechanical keyboard. It all started with my reddit post on r/linux_gaming where I asked people what keyboard they're using and what they can recommend. Quite a lot of people have recommended Keychron to me (Not specifically this one), so I've decided to give it a try. Also, this might be the longest video I've made recently. TIMESTAMPS: 00:00 - ...

I fell into the rabbithole and have decided to stay. About more than a year ago, my curiosity has driven me to try using Linux. learning linux was one of the best decisions i did in my life
Hey, at the bottom, it says the charging rate is 5 volts and 500 milliamps. That means it'll take about 2 hours to charge a 1000 milliamp battery. It's not the battery size that matters, it's the charging rate.
Linux is a nightmare for most folk. you will spend thousands of hours gettin' a mouse to scroll
Yeah, apparently you also need a computer science degree just to download it.
The anime is so real tho.
Same here 😉
3:30 "feetsies" I love it!
Dude, you put in the Dragon Maid transition things 😂 Instant like
I do like that anime. Kobayashi best girl. She's a Python dev/programmer. lol.
if i am using it on wired mode, can i still switch between devices?
When on wired mode, you can only use wired mode. If you want to switch between more than 1 device, you have to use Bluetooth.
Just purchased my Delux Seeker and thank you for this video. Very informative. Thank you!
arch from scratch is superior
I just onece decided that i am linux user like 7 months ago ehmmm i used 50 distros in last half of year curently i use arch craft for de it is clean af
This kuya spittin knowledge
Windows farms you even after forking money out to buy the OS. Been using linux for about 2 years, been having a great time with performance
cool!
I have been using Linux since I was 15 and now at 20 I use arch by the way
Rating at the bottom of the mouse is battery voltage (V) and battery current (mA), not battery capacity (mAh).
Good point. Thought it was a typo.
Hi there! thank you for the tutorial, it is amazing and got me up and running fast. I only have 1 issue: the footage in OBS is showing in 16:9 format instead of 4:3. is this a setting that has to be change in config or in OBS?
Hi there, thanks for the comment! Have you tried changing *-s:v 1920x1080* to 4:3 dimensions? You can also check your current OBS Output/Recording serttings.
Can Please someone tell me how he uses the VIA tool wirh this keyvoard. I cant connect with the VIA App (cable or Bluetooth). Ans it seems to be not supported for the VIA tool. So what did i Have to do get this working?
Hello, and thanks for the comment. Can you tell me what's happening? Like what error do you get when trying to connect the keyboard to the app? What method are you using on VIA? Are you using the installable version, or are you using the web browser version of VIA? What OS are you using? Are you on a Mac? Windows? Linux?
i got 0% back when i got it. charge it around 3 hour while using it too (maybe that explain why it slower) after the display show 100%, disconnect the USB and only use 2.4ghz, i got around 5 days of usage. 2nd charge to full were shorter only 2 hour. but the battery drain it self by only 3 days of usage. 3rd charge (maybe overcharge) by using me PC and left it over night. its been 3days still 60% battery. really love the ergonomics, wireless connection. side scroll, just hope the battery last.
The battery on mine is dead now. lmao. I can only use it on wired mode. I'm planning on replacing that battery soon and see if that would work.
@@HeathenHacksplease do video the procedure! That would be awesome.
Thanks for listing the anime titles from your clips.
What are the names of the fonts you use in this system?
you have tried Bitwig Studio? it is a good native DAW to substitute FL Studio.
I've tried Bitwig, Ardour, and others, only to go back to FL. lol. Too lazy to learn other DAWs, specially since I don't use it much, and only if I'm in the mood. I have FL working on Bottles with all my VSTs now, which is nice.
about MS Office, on my work i still use, because of the majority of the employees still use but, on my work PC i have turnet to opensuse, i use the Totvs Protheus ERP native smartclient, use MS Teams and MS Outlook on the PWA version (progressive webapp), and Microsoft 365 PWA too, without problems, on my free hours i'm an musician and use Bitwig 8-track as DAW for my studys, and musiscore for the sheets.
By the Way => "I use Arch, BTW"
Would you recommend this keyboard for longevity? I want to buy it but I don’t want to waste money on something that will give me a lot of issues within a year
Hmmm... that's a good question. In my opinion, in general, a wired mouse/keyboard would last longer than a wireless one. Not because the wireless ones have lesser quality components, but because they have batteries. Batteries can sometimes be a hit or miss, even from expensive and well-trusted brands. It depends, but in most cases, the thing that wears out first are the batteries. Now, I said that it depends, because it depends on how long and how frequent we use the thing that has a battery, because battery life/longevity depends on charge and discharge rate or how frequently we use it (discharge) and charge it. As an example, I have a JBL bluetooth headphone that I bought last 2017 that is still working just fine. I also have a JBL bluetooth earbuds that I bought last 2022, but the JBL bluetooth earbuds battery is discharging so fast now, even when compared to the headphones that I bought 5 years earlier than the earbuds. The main difference between the 2 devices aside from the year of purchase is I can use the JBL bluetooth earbuds more frequently than the JBL bluetooth headphones, because the headphones one hurts my ears after 2 or more hours of usage, so, the headphones one has been discharged less than the earbuds one. On another note, the battery on this thing can easily be replaced with a third-party one, but then again, we don't know how long the replacement would last. I've had some issues that I'm not sure if they are isolated or not, and you can see them on my pinned comment.
I love linux As a fedora kinoite (bazzite) user it runs fast, smoothly etc the only issue with fedora kinoite is openrazer will not work (It needs dkms and kinoite uses akmods) and some apps (Read only file system tho there are workarounds like copy the app directory for vencord to install and there is a command that unlocks it but on system reboot it will be reverted)
Does the copying of the directory and installation also revert? If it's only the command that unlocks it, I guess you can make a bash script that calls that command, then just add the script to your autostart apps. Don't know much about Fedora since I use KDE, but on KDE we can add scripts or applications that would automatically start on startup.
@@HeathenHacks I think so i never really tried it But i think even if you make a bash script put that command it will still revert and the command am talking about is"sudo ostree admin unlock" And fedora kinoite uses kde
I guess another sort of weird workaround if it also reverts the installation is making a bash script that would copy the app directory, and call the command, then make that bash script executable and either call it via bash aliases or put it inside a desktop shortcut that you can just click. It would still not solve the reverting problem, but, now, it's just a click and a password away. It's a band-aid "solution". lol
@@HeathenHacks Alr lol but the immutable file system is actually kinda safer so you dont accidently delete important system stuff
@@HeathenHacks Also i have another question you should also try krita (gimp alterntive) and onlyoffice (Libreoffice alterntive)
Very clearly presented, keep making content
Thank you!
watching this at 7 am with some instant noodles cause i woke up too early
That's fine. Even if you just mute it then put it in the background, as long as it's playing, I don't mind it at all. 😂 Thank you.

I'll try my best. Thank you.

You are a fucking hero. I'm changing from Windows to Arch Linux (I used Linux a decade ago, and I wanted to give it a try). Just to let others know, if you get an error when issuing the command modprobe, you might need to install the package linux-headers via pacman (it happened to me and saw it when trying to build it with the dkms command).
Do take note that there might be some significant delays between what the viewfinder/camera's LCD screen shows and the actual video that shows up on OBS.
good vid but pls get rid of the cringy intro😭
I really love that theme you have going there
Ubuntu works... but I prefer Fedora 40 (wayland). It's more stable. 😂
Please review the K5 SE and V6 MAX.
Hello, and thanks for the comment! Unfortunately, i can't, because that requires money, and I don't have a lot of it.
*UPDATE* : I'm not sure if this is an isolated issue or not, but the battery of it seem to be discharging quite fast now. It also does not get fully-charged anymore. Only stays at 88% even after being plugged-in all day.
I had the same problem. Using a phone charger solved the problem
I love linux. I use it all the time for headless servers. Unfortunately theres too many apps I need that dont work through wine or have a linux alternative so i cant use it for desktop. And before anyone suggests it, dual booting is a stupid solution too. I shouldn’t have to interrupt my workflow with dual booting. What if im doing something for work but I get half an hour of down time so I decide to play a match on fortnite? Should I close everything I'm doing, reboot my pc into windows, load fortnite for 30 minutes, reboot back to Linux, re open everything I had to close? Thats not a viable solution. Who's going to do that 5 or more times every week? Should I have two PCs next to each other so one can be Linux and one can be windows? Now im managing 2 pcs. No thanks.
Thanks for the video very informative! I was also wanting to know about the polling rate and what the difference is, if any? If the price seems good for some of the issues you talked about
Not sure if this is an isolated issue or not, but I think I have to mention this first. The battery of it (or something else) seem to be malfunctioning now. It stays at 88% even after being plugged-in (and charging) all day. If you're still considering on buying one, I'm not certain if the same thing would happen, but do take this as a word of caution. On another note, the polling rate seem to be the same with other mice. I keep mine at 1600DPI. I'm also not sure if the prices in my country (I'm in Asia) are the same with yours, so, I can't comment on that. Sorry.
Faced with having to learn the whole command terminal of such a niche system only 4% of the population uses it, and buying a Windows license to save yourself all of that crap, every normal human being is gonna choose the latter. And this is just not having to learn the command terminal, not mentioning the ugly, and so limited in comparison to exe programs software. I think the only chance of putting a dent in Microsoft's monopoly is gonna be a finally satisfying Android x86, Android for PC, cause PC Linux developers don't even recognize normal people have much more import things to do, than memorize the Linux terminal. It's called having a life. P. S. Add Wine, Bottles, etc to a finally decent Android x86 out of the box, and the sky's the limit! For such smart computer geeks, no wonder you folks trip on your very shoelaces.
*Faced with having to learn the whole command terminal of such a niche system* ~ Where did you get this information, I wonder? I mean, for normal usage, you can get by without using it. It just depends on what you want/need to do. You want to play Steam games? Depending on the compatibility of the game you want to play, you can literally just download and install Steam from KDE's Discover. (It's like an app store) You need an office suite? There's Libre Office, Only Office, etc. for that. You can even just use Microsoft Office or Google's Office Suite online if those are what you need. You need to edit videos? You can download KDenLive on KDE's Discover and if you need something more professional, you can also download and install DaVinci Resolve. *only 4% of the population uses it, and buying a Windows license to save yourself all of that crap, every normal human being is gonna choose the latter. And this is just not having to learn the command terminal* ~ That is true, however, even on Windows, there are times when you need to use the terminal. ipconfig, pinging something on the network, flushing your dns, etc. There's a quote that goes "We all fear what we don't understand", and I think it fits this. *not mentioning the ugly, and so limited in comparison to exe programs software* ~ I mean, not a lot of FOSS developers are backed by billion-dollar corporations and not a lot of them have huge teams that handle UI/UX. In most cases, they just develop something that they want and share it to everyone. *I think the only chance of putting a dent in Microsoft's monopoly is gonna be a finally satisfying Android x86, Android for PC, cause PC Linux developers don't even recognize normal people have much more import things to do, than memorize the Linux terminal.* ~Again, for normal usage, you can get by without using the terminal. It just depends on what you want/need to do. *For such smart computer geeks, no wonder you folks trip on your very shoelaces.* ~ I mean... I'm not smart, but at least I'm not scared of the terminal. With all that said, tho, I'm not here to convince you to use Linux. Your system, your choice. I'm just trying to point out the things that you may have been misinformed about.
Don't be so modest. I'm sure you're much more smarter than me. Maybe smarter, but not practical, though. You cannot use Linux the same way you use Windows, or MacOS. Why do you yourself choose so many times to boot up Windows from your other partition, instead of Linux? Could it be because you're tired from work, and simply don't want to get off that left elbow you're resting on, to deal with all of that mess? Theoretically, you should be able to get most tasks done without the terminal, but in reality, you know you're gonna run into problems, that Linux distro developers simply did not put in the effort to be able to get resolved for a normal human being, and not a literal IT expert. On Windows, you run something like System Mechanic, System Repair (whos free versions are still very, very functional), and not just that problem is solved. With Linux, you're gonna be begging the "nice" community weeks for any help. Thank God Google didn't make the same mistake creating Android, cause it would also be just as obsolete throughout the whole market, as desktop Linux. Add to Android x86 more drivers, Wine, Bottles, etc, maybe even an entirely new dedicated compatibility layer of the sort, and the given developer is in very, very promising business! As for the software, most exe programs are also free, for example a simple audio converter like freak, or LameXP. With the vast majority of Linux distros, you don't even get the codecs you actually need, out of the box! When a normal human being is faced with all this crap, they automatically return back to Windows, pissed at themselves for wasting time on downloading and installing the Linux. Linux developers have done everything to feed and grow the danger Bill Gates and Microsoft are for humanity, simply by not making Linux acceptable to everybody, and though Google is no better than Microsoft, thank God they noticed the elephant in the room!
*Don't be so modest. I'm sure you're much more smarter than me. Maybe smarter, but not practical, though.* ~ Again, I'm not smart. I just like learning new things. Also, something being "practical" can be subjective, it can also depend on your priority. To you, using Linux is not practical because you think that it's hard to use in general (Specially the terminal), and because of all the "problems". To me, Windows is the one that is not practical, because I like owning and having control over my system. I don't like telemetry if it's not opt-in, I don't like an operating system installing things that I can't remove easily, or things that I did not tell it to install (bloatware), I don't like ads showing up on my system, and I don't like it when an operating system changes my settings on its own. Is Windows really practical if I have to use a debloater to remove all the bloatware it installed by itself? Is it really practical if I have to also use a debloater just to disable all the telemetry if I'm too lazy to disable them myself? *You cannot use Linux the same way you use Windows, or MacOS.* ~ Because Linux is not Windows or macOS. Linux is Linux. *Why do you yourself choose so many times to boot up Windows from your other partition, instead of Linux? Could it be because you're tired from work, and simply don't want to get off that left elbow you're resting on, to deal with all of that mess?* ~ Since when have I said that I kept on returning Windows? lol. I keep Windows on my other partition simply as a backup and just for troubleshooting/testing purposes these days. *Theoretically, you should be able to get most tasks done without the terminal, but in reality, you know you're gonna run into problems, that Linux distro developers simply did not put in the effort to be able to get resolved for a normal human being, and not a literal IT expert.* ~ Your saying this like problems/issues don't exist on Windows. lol. Operating systems and applications are complicated, I don't care if you think this is not true for Windows, but, all software/applications can have bugs. On another note, you don't "need" to be "a literal IT expert" to submit bug reports. You just need to read (believe me, that's all that it takes). That's why report templates exist on every repositories. On another another note, you keep on mentioning "normal human being", what do you think it is, exactly? I mean, I'm a normal human being, at least I think I am. I'm not a celebrity, I'm not famous or rich, I'm not an athlete, etc. I'm a really boring person, and I'm not "a literal IT expert", too. *On Windows, you run something like System Mechanic, System Repair (whos free versions are still very, very functional), and not just that problem is solved.* ~ Ahh, yes. System Mechanic and System Repair... lol. In my experience, those things only work on simple enough issues. If you need to fix a configuration or something, you still have to do it yourself. *With Linux, you're gonna be begging the "nice" community weeks for any help.* ~ First, that depends on what help you need. How you asked for help, and how niche it is. If your problem can be easily solved by a simple Google search, you're probably not going to get any answers, because you're too lazy to look for one yourself first. Besides, you're not paying people on forums for you to be entitled to an answer. If your question was answered by someone, you should be grateful because they took the time, and if not, well, go search for answers yourself. *Thank God Google didn't make the same mistake creating Android, cause it would also be just as obsolete throughout the whole market, as desktop Linux.* ~ What do you mean obsolete? Lmao. Android is like it is because Google is a multi-billion dollar corporation who can employ multiple people that can handle the dev work and UI/UX, but they also make use of free and open source software/code. On the other hand, you're comparing it to Linux, which is also free and open-source, but is not made by a multi-billion dollar company. *Add to Android x86 more drivers, Wine, Bottles, etc, maybe even an entirely new dedicated compatibility layer of the sort, and the given developer is in very, very promising business!* ~ I believe that's easier said than done. *As for the software, most exe programs are also free, for example a simple audio converter like freak, or LameXP. With the vast majority of Linux distros, you don't even get the codecs you actually need, out of the box! When a normal human being is faced with all this crap, they automatically return back to Windows, pissed at themselves for wasting time on downloading and installing the Linux.* ~ This only depends on the media-player/editing software you're using. Even Windows does not have all the codecs out of the box, because if it has, you don't need to use VLC and/or K-Lite Codec Pack wouldn't exist. And Again with this "normal human being" stuff. What do you think Linux users are? lmao. *Linux developers have done everything to feed and grow the danger Bill Gates and Microsoft are for humanity, simply by not making Linux acceptable to everybody, and though Google is no better than Microsoft, thank God they noticed the elephant in the room!* ~ There's another quote that I would like to say, and it's "If there's a will, there's a way". If you're tired of Microsoft, don't have the funds or knows better than to switch to Apple/Mac, and want to use Linux, at least exert some effort doing so. Windows and Linux are fundamentally different, so of course they would not work the same. BUT, in my honest opinion, you should just keep on using Windows. You're clearly more comfortable using it. You don't even need to face the scary terminal monster, which is a win.
Never mind. I'm not gonna convince you how unbelievably important it is the normal (not IT expert) human being has access to an alternative to Windows, or MacOS. The Linux community is not even interested in that, but luckily the Android x86 project is starting to make more and more progress here.
You're talking nonsense, man. Linux IS an alternative to Windows and Mac, it's just that not a lot of proprietary software supports it, because the market share is not that big, and again, contrary to what you think, most Linux users are not IT experts.(myself included) lmao. I've used Windows for literally more than 2 decades. It has been ingrained in my brain, and have been used to how it works, because I was indoctrinated into using it ever since elementary school. Just like the other *normal (non IT expert) human beings* , I, too, have had some troubles switching to Linux. Yes, it wasn't a smooth ride at first, but, that's not the fault of the devs. It's just that my way of thinking was different, because I was so used to doing things "the Windows way". Learning new things can be challenging sometimes, but if you welcome it, you'll thank yourself in the future, because by then, you'll know how to use 2 operating systems, even if you're just using one. Then again, if you think that's too overwhelming for you, yeah, it would be better to just wait for this Android x86 that you speak of.
Um Linus Tech Tips??? yea no uh huh, even with their conclusions , they are so wrong about a lot of things they said didn't work that I can make work, they just don't know how. don't set yaself up for failure Many people make this mistake and Linus Tech ips is no exception. Its also about getting the right Distro as well, cause one stability isn't equal always with each and every Linux Distro version. My main thing is stability and working well with all other hardware including video card, NVIDIA in my case It runs really great. I can even game.
I have this mouse, but the horizonal scrolling wheel doesnt work. Any way to fix it? I have windows 11
If it's brand new or still under warranty, I suggest returning it to the seller. If it's not, I guess you can try disassembling it to find out why the horizontal scroll wheel is not working. However, disassembling things if you don't know what you're doing can sometimes make things worse, so, consider this as a heads-up. That is your device and therefore, your responsibility.
For my distro of choice. I use Linux Mint 21.3 Virginia because it just works on a crappy HP stream 11. It has an intel celeron n4000 with 4gb ram and can do everything what i did on a windows pc. I mainly use it for education.
So i plug the ethernet cable from my internet box to the blue box on the model? Correct
Correct. There's also a quick setup guide provided that you can take a look at.
this makes me want to try linux now
what is the actual battery capacity? 500mah or 1000mah?
According to what's indicated on the battery, it's 1000mAh.
why your box looks fake from the other review
also, you don’t have any pouch included?
Product packaging and the accessories included usually differs depending on where you are and depending on what's in stock. I'm in Asia, and I guess the review you're talking about was from someone in the UK. I bought this one from Delux's official 3rd-parrty store.
Yes. It doesn't have a pouch.
Can this same router connect to a fibre ONT modem and function properly? I am getting a new fibre connection with the Ont modem.
If your ONT modem has an ethernet port, you can probably connect this router's WAN (ethernet) port to it.
This worked, except the footage is super laggy and stuttery. I think I need to hardware accelerate ffmpeg. Do you know how to make that work with your command?
Yeah, it has quite a significant delay, right? I haven't tinkered with hardware acceleration on gphoto2 just yet, but ffmpeg's h264_nvenc works great when converting videos. I guess you can try out VA-API for hardware acceleration? It's on gphoto2's issues: github.com/gphoto/gphoto2/issues/532
A fellow gura enjoyer
i cant switch to linux i want to play roblox roblox doesnt allow wine on linux john not happy
Hi bro what's that grub theme at 10:41 it looks cool
Hmmm... not entirely sure about that one. It came with my distro and I just changed the image. lol.
@@HeathenHacks Oh ok, thanks for the quick response God bless
If you're up to it, tho, I just remembered that that theme is from "arch linux tweak tool". It's a tool from my distro which contains that theme. if you're on an arch/derivative distro, check it out.
