..For me, The pop-up looks too far away from the method and a little too high in the water, because the whole idea is for the fish to find the pellet/groundbait and suck the whole thing in in one. To me, the fish has the choice to ignore the hook-bait and just eat the pellets,but the next time I go fishing,I'll give it a go because it's always nice to have something new in your armoury to use if all other methods fail. I love Gold valley by the way. Been going there for years..!!

Just wanna say, after watching a ton of Will Raison (legend) videos my playing of carp on the pole has way improved. I visited my local pond yesterday which is full of wild carp, nobody fishes it, they fight like hell and when they see the net they go ballistic. And I never saw a puller bung before but I bought a couple when I visited the UK, game changer. Anyway I caught 11 fish to 17lb and never lost one. Thanks Buddy.

An alternative to super glue could be clear nail varnish such as, Hard as Nails. Less dangerous to use, easier to apply and fast drying.

I find even with no skim on the water, you still get drift. If you don't sink the line. Do you sink the line when fishing pellet waggler & do you put a small dust shot near the hook ?
