Pov:When the laugh is more funny than the actual joke😸
And Pounds are shorten as Lb
I love watching these funny videos, sound and safe in my bed
So as a Canadian Temp is in C...unless you are cooking then it is in F. Distance is in metric but we also use miles, feet, inches and acres. Also in the country we measure distance in time...their house is 45 minute outside of the city. I live 6 hours from my sister. Volumen. Gas is liters as well as food liquids to purchase but when cooking it is cups and spoons Weight is in meteric except humans who know only pounds unless they are boxers. 😂
Add another O in the yes 🤣
i live in canada, we use both english and french, and mostly the metric system with a very small bit of the other stuff
I hate it when Americans don't even know what their measurement system is based on. The system is based on a mile, not an inch. It's from the Roman measurement of 1,000 paces. An inch is actually the equivalent of 3 barley corns. These are particularly old and human measuring systems. Metric works better in the modern world, Imperial was accessible to the average person in the ancient world.
Bo
When an affair turns into affaire.
what about the litre
English would make more since if the etymology of every word was also taught.
You made him surrender, no surprise 😅😂
So now I know that Yoda was French 😹✨️
But we missed Rods, Poles and Perches between the yard and mile...
P as in piss. The p is actually pronounced normally here.
I think that's just americans not english
Very good one 👍 🤣
I know French ain't giving English a hard time. Y'all need to work on your numbers before you say anything to anyone😂😂😂
This is genuinely frightening.
Best mis translation I have ever heard was: le prime ministre est occupé avec ses affaires translated to The prime minister was busy with his 16 affairs
UK uses like rocks or something like cavemen
For years I thought pounds and Lbs were separate measurements. I would call lbs Lobes. 😅
Bruh... French 😂😂😂
mes affaires : my stuff une affaire : a legal case une affaire : a business s'affairer : to occupy yourself with an activity close to agitation. Having a lot of occupations, appearing overworked.
Isn't that American English though?
Actually, it's not English. It's just America doing this madness. Anyone who goes to America need to forget every unit of measurement they know. 😂
I knew how to speak French all along.
I knew the yard joke the second I found this video.
Ounces - oz . Pounds - lb (also, why?)
Meanwhile actual English uses centimetres, millimetres etc
Where is litre? 😠
Loic doit etre un Ontarien pour faire son Quebec Bashing. Le Francais Quebecois est la plus belle langue au monde.
So if this is true, can we start calling 6ft people 2 yards tall?
Not to mention that pounds are written lbs???
Oh my gosh, I never realized how bad our metric system is.
well, in english's defense, theorecally 2+1 and 1+2 are two differents operations, that happen to have the same result
Me learning French from the back of shampoo bottles...
Surprised you didn't go with a pound being abbreviated to lbs. Literally none of the same letters!
Reverso or google not give all the meanings, je suis sûr une affaire, can refear to a good deal, an uncommon task at work or a lady. French: one meaning, hundred of words, one word hundred of meanings. Deal with it , good luck 😅
How's he so good in french, though? 😂
This is quite literally my favorite video
For English you should do “Sun” and “son” Plsssssssss ❤❤❤
people do intentionally ignore these rules for the sake of using similar words without intending the connotations associated with the common phrase (and to seem more formal). i remember accidentally running into a lot of word combinations that people made normal into conversation that i didn’t really intend to do in my high school essays: it’s okay when you don’t have those implications associated, imo
Celcius is for water Fahrenheit is for people Kelvin is for space
Had me in the first half...
Don't forget the "Had had"

It just kept going…
