Broly is a depressed giant before full of hatred. I dont like him in a side of good naive guy instead of being arrogant self centered violent giant. I’ve always thought that the show has been playing up for piccolo to fuse with gohan in order for gohan to be on that vegeta/goku level. There’s just a few things that have kinda shown that and plus I could see it happening during a scenario where if gohan and piccolo are really hurt fighting someone and it’s like a last resort technique.
