The Hoss has been discontinued already. It's been replaced by the Stampede 4X4 VXL. Which is basically the Hoss but with heavy-duty upgrades and a lower price tag.

The axial scx3 jeep cj7 is probably the best out of the box for the price. And you cant beat it's realistic scale features right out of the box.

Putting the $1,000 scx6 on the same list as these other $100 rc vehicles is not a fair comparison in performance. Maybe include trx4, trx6, scx10, and other $4-$500+ vehicles. About the laegendary crawler you mentioned. Its a good starter crawler for the money if you catch it on sale. Ive got an amazon review with pics and video of the blue/green version. Expect upgrading the steering servo and the 2 speed transmission to slip pretty early.

I think the sledge and xmax are the best ones by traxxas if compared with other rc competitors.

The traxxss rustler is so cool to Drive (I already bought it)

only thing with the Mojave is the rubber piece is going to come off on your first bash session. along with the body likes to split and crack all over the place after a couple of bad crashes or bad landing the body is going to look like you have run it for 3 years. finally, the plastic pillow balls on the end of the links wear out after a few runs so you will want to upgrade those to metal otherwise the front will be sloppy. those were the Cons. pros: crazy power on 4s handles bumps like a udr pivots in the air fantastically for a desert racer and the center diff supplies power to every wheel evenly. i love it personally but prefer to run it on a track and not just hit massive jumps for the reasons stated above.
