I agree.. 1st shave was bearable.. 2nd not so.. ended up swapping it for something else

Absolute trash these, id have a better shave with a butter knife. Agony and easily the worst shave id had in my 25 years of shaving.

What is your top performing blade ?

These blades are great. Very sharp, but very smooth at the same time. Have used it with CC, OC razors. 2-3 shaves usage. Great value too, they cost $2 for 100 retail. Sometimes less if on deals.

I assume the implication is that they were cut or edged with a ruby laser? Lovely to see you back, those Derby Extra blades you reviewed have seen me right. I must say given the low cost of decent blades I'm inclined to get a great full head and face shave or two out of one and then pop it in a glass jar. I can then either safely dispose of them or clean them up with 99.9% acetone in the jar for some utility/craft usage.

I've just used one in my 6s on plate 4. Fantastic shave. In my opinion they are better than the Swedish Supersteel

The Bic is a nice sharp blade that works well with my grey beard hair.

In my opinion, the best of the Treats are: Treet Platinum, Classic, Falcon. And I even jealous you, because you haven’t tried any of them yet.) Really good blades, they give close, smooth shave, and are inexpensive. Treet Carbon blades also shave well, but they quickly become dull.

Derby black is better then the green ones

Good review. They've just started stocking them in larger branches of Asda. I may buy a pack or two and try them out (carefully).

Hey Paul, Could you please take a look, at the new German Persona Platinum Chromes? I know you reviewed the old ones, but It's been said they're even sharper, than the old Persona Red Wrapper/ Blue Wrapper. (a.k.a the Persona Israelis). I'd love to get your expert opinion on those blades.

Nice review Paul don’t think i will be going out of my way to try them. Mainly straight shave now would be interested to hear how your straight journey is going

I am thinking of buying 200 of them as they're relatively sharp and smooth. Don't give me cuts and burns like others. My current blades are Treet Platinum but i get 1 shave out of them. They're sharper ans smooth but give me more irritation. These Euromax are gret value indeed.

Glad to see Indian blades getting recognition internationally. To be fair, these cost 0.50 GBP for 5 tucks (50 blades total) here in India. 3 shaves off one blade is phenomenal at that price. You end up paying 7 GBP for 100 blades due to international shipping. If you find that to be great value, imagine buying them here in India for £1 for 100 retail! :)

Gillette have launched a King C Gillette brand off the back of their recent successful Heritage DE safety razor; the King C Gillette DE safety razor + 5 blades is currently £9.99 online in Superdrug/£10 direct from Gillette online or £13.33 from Boots in store. I'm a child of the 90s but my parents were born during and just after WWII respectively, money was tight and I can relate to counting every penny and wasting nowt. I feel like the disposable and cartridge razors I've been using since I was a teen are such a con now I have access to a DE safety; it's much cheaper, a better shave and honestly feels safer than a disposable with poor technique. I look forward to the next time a younger lad in my life or trans friend asks for advice learning to shave - I can help them get a great shave and set them up with a razor that could last them a lifetime, a real gift rather than something frivolous like socks.
