Our second attempt at a Hotel room review from Sept 2022. The Spring Arona Gran in Los Christianos, Tenerife. A little quieter than what we are used to in Costa Adeje, however another very nice clean hotel. The hotel did go through a refurbishment during Covid.

Loch Vaa Walk Aviemore

A little wander around the stunning Loch Vaa in Aviemore, look out for the little boathouse with the red roof the local fishing club use. A beautiful walk that will take about an hour. Well worth a visit.

Yes, I think we prefer a sea view also.
Love this hotel, only place we've been back to. It's closing from January next year for 8 months for a complete refurbishment to make it an up to date 5☆
Looking forward to going back after the upgrade also, it is a great hotel, the upgrade will just be the icing on the cake.
Love this hotel too very much. Already 5 times there, have always a nice nice time there. I'll try to go at the end of the year before the renovations and than i hope a year later when the renovations are done.
rooms look dated and that bathroom with the sealants around the bath top looks terrible

Mmmmm, considering it’s 5* it’s pretty basic. What kind of a shower was that and the patio furniture is very basic and the room you booked was way up there in price!

Hi Celt67, yes it was, when you head out to the pool round to the right, down a small set of steps , there is a door with a card reader for heading down to the main drag and the beach. Much quicker and easier than heading out the main entrance. Enjoy your stay, we thought it was a fab hotel, drop us a not and let us know what you thought of it?
Rare to get a rainy day in Tenerife 😢 we stayed in room 665… better views for sure 👍
One of the reasons we go to Tenerife Chris is the lack of rain - that was the first time in 7 years we got caught in rain. Was 665 further round to the right looking down to the pool and out to sea?

Breakfast was fine TIGER, plenty on offer from cerials, continental, fried. I really enjoyed the selection. The restaraunt was well laid out, very clean and tidy. Lots of attention to detail.

Mrs Little Travels first vlog - still learning, however we hope the review gives you an idea of what the rooms are like in the Spring Arona Gran. A really nice hotel, very clean and tidy.
Thank you for sharing. Our favourite hotel in las Americas. Went there in August 92 when it was the Torviscas for our first visit to the island. Went back a couple of times before they done it up. It was a great hotel even then. There was a painting of the hotel on the stairs down to the restaurant , when it was the only building in the area. Might look out of place now. Hope to return soon.

Loved my stay in the Clachaig Inn, very rustic and in a very stunning location. Food was also great, definately worth a visit.

Were hopping to do more of these in the future, possible some longer walks or potentially even highlighting some bike rides also.
