This album it's not just about brutality, it's about smartness, because the grouse and gory vocals, ear piercing drums, overly distorted guitars and a bit more hide the geniality in the Lyrics, probably one of the best song meanings I ever heard for songs of this genre. Great job Napalm Death, you guys managed to make one of the most 10:52 futuristic and awesome sounding grind albums, that feels like new even today. Obs: I also liked to point out that this album aged even better than Harmony Corruption. I know, Harmony Corruption also rocks alot, but it's the recording sound and quality that gets me, cause for me is quite or actually really poor (that is, for an Grind album), and really idk why this feels like this to me... Different from Mentally Murdered, which has this nice (for me) recording quality, and I really dunno why I have this opinion but ehh, whatever...

picked this up in the dollar bin because of the art, fell in love instantly, reminded me of being 13 in the 2000s and getting into punk the time bands like this were still active

First song sounds like a more lo-fi PiL. I really enjoy No Sanctuary, Arise!, and Monolith. First time hearing this though. Interesting! A lot of people I know who like Amebix are metalheads/crustlords/oogles, which is fine, but I always saw more of the post-punk side of it, and these recordings confirm that. They're great because it's like Killing Joke meets Motorhead, it's got so much to offer fans of punk AND metal. But THIS particular recording is more on the post-punk side of thing, for sure. This is great.

Going back to ideologies I used to buy into like the notion that we have no place for masculinity anymore, because society had become civil, I now realize how fuckin childish these views are. That they are based on a woprld already at peace. Peace is just a state of transition to a time, without it. You embrace gender roles and masculinity, in preparation for the down fall. If you cant perpetuate your species, you can not create infrastructure to continue prosper, and provide abundant resources for the survival of your species, its basic biological survival. Something crust is directly going against.. Consumption, is actually the act of surviving. A fundamental aspect of existence, if you dont like it, then play russian roulett with a 50 cal. IF you are gonna choose to stick around, know that communism, is a tool of the establishment to manipulate us into giving up control. ITs submission. You can not have communism, with anarchism. Thats not the root meaning, crust is a dream world and we enabled the current divide among humanity by letting ourselves be forcefed this bs, most of these kids, dont know what any of it actually means. While the original ideological basis for crust, CRASS, has been lost. Listen to bloody revolutions. Punk is fundamentally against communistic and fascist control. Yet it has led to the current communistic ideology, now vying to make the world submit to control. They see the title and think, gender roles must be an artificial construct. when gender roles, are nothing more than the function of a male personality, which is inherently gender specific. Since the idea, that gender identity is a construct, is the artificial construct. Since the notion of being anything you arent, is something you force on yourself to feel some kind of relief from the pressures of society, which are expectations, to perpetuate your own survival and not be a burden on others. Honestly the entire ideology needs to be revamped and aimed towards communism, towards technocratic control, and fascist woke ideology, since that is the tool of the establishment to execute tactics of manipulation and CONTROL. I was a kid when I believed in this shit, and today ist sounds like a bunch of ignorant whiney bitches, that have no concept of the real world, cause they never had to survive in it. They turned away from it, they gave up on it, because it was too difficult. Because spunging off the system and others, is easier, than building a life, building a family, finding some fulfillment in your doomed existence, rather then spending it miserable simply because you think it sounds cool. Its not cool to stand in a line for hours for toilet paper and soup. Its not cool to make a world so violent due to chaos, that the strong cull the weak. Instead of the strong, making others strong. The crust punk ideology is flawed, and defeatist. And its basically psychologically engineered to serve the neo fascist globalist system. It makes you think you are free, when you are now more a slave than ever.
