1965 Coleman 413G Gas Stove 3rd time lighting!
I found this stove for $12 bucks and it appeared to have never been lit before.
Super clean inside and only a little surface rust on the outside.
This is my main camping stove.

I found this lantern in an antique store buried under a lot of items. It didn't have a globe or a wick or the packing material inside the fountain. I brought it home and immediately started looking for the items it was missing and ended up buying the wrong globe in the process. Fortunately, I was able to find a globe that fit! Thanks for watching. If you enjoyed this video please give a like an...
It would be interesting to know what date is stamped on the bottom of the stove case. My 413H has the same hinged grill that yours does.
I don't know if I saw a date stamp on the bottom of the stove... How exactly would I find it? I do know there is a date stamp on the fuel tank. 👍
that is not a 413G grill
I really don't think that's the original price tag. These stoves were sold in cardboard boxes and the price would have been on the box. I'm guessing the price on it was from a second hand store a few years after the stove was purchased new, or it was sold as an open box item. Nice find though. I'm working on buying one from the 60's that is still in the box. I don't want to ask the seller of the year because I don't think he knows that he's not asking enough for it. It's a 411a in as good or better condition to the one you have there.
they have not been a better stove that has lasted as long as these Coleman stoves.
I agree!
You want the best you got it,old Coleman stove and lanterns.
Love my coleman gear! Thanks for watching
Nice stove, but you need to learn how to pump it up properly. Unscrew the pump handle for a few turns, stand to the right of the tank, put your THUMB on the hole (with your index and middle finger behind), and with your forearm parallel to the pump rod give it fifty quick and FULL strokes in succession - not those weak-ass half-strokes from side to side - and then light. The gas will come out more forcefully and settle down very quickly. That initial weak-ass yellow flame is a result of your weak pumping more than anything else.
Thanks for the advice
Glad to see how happy and excited you were about the lantern 👍🏼 That globe belongs in a Dietz Vesta Railroad lantern, but you made it work 👍🏼
Yes. It doesn't seem to fit perfectly, but it works! Thanks for watching! I have another lantern I'm going to make a video on soon. Stay tuned.
Nice find!
Thanks! It's my main camping stove now 😁
Best option for camping and outdoor activities!🎶
I agree! Love it!
Great stove I bought one on eBay new old stock and was left a 3 burner 426D from my brother and it has has a zipper canvas Coleman case with the Coleman logo on it I have seen before . On the G 413 for one this stove is larger than the others made by Coleman. Plus you should use a filter when filling the tank, they sell them at Old Coleman Parts. Thanks for the video and have fun with your stove😊
Awesome! I'm gona look for a bag and a filter. Thanks for watching!
Yes a fantastic looking little Adlake lantern in the vid! 👍👍 Me I scored 2 Adlake lanterns, one uses lamp oil & the other been electrified! 🙂🙂 The one I have that have lamp oil in it works fantastic & burns good too! 🙂 The electrified one looks fantastic with a neon flicker flame light bulb in it! 🙂🙂Great lantern! 🙂🙂
Sounds excellent! Thanks for watching my video! 😁
