Awe this was so wholesome and healed something in my heart to watch you all you on the beach. I havent had a vacation in several years. I also travelled very little with my daughter and experienced these kinds of moments. I worked all the time and now that she is a teenager I reflect back at how I worked and then her grandmother and father got to have these kinds of moments on the weekends. May your days continue to be blessed with your little one. It goes by fast.

I love your home and it’s wonderful that you are so proud of it. Why shouldn’t you be. I also have a little house and most of my furniture was my Mum’s, handed down to me when she passed away. Some of my friends are wealthy and I have the feeling they feel sorry for me in my little hodge lodge, quirky house but to me, it’s my sanctuary and I wouldn’t swap it for anything grander. Do you have any advice on jobs in Ireland? If I were to go back to school what are good/higher paying careers there?

Greetings from fellow American expats living in a small village in Southwestern France. Your video is great as it shows a true picture of life in rural Europe. What a terrific cottage and not being in France it is not wallpapered everywhere to include ceilings and doors. One thing that has made a huge difference to us was the installation of our Wood Stove. I highly recommend that you get one installed as it makes our stone cottage far more comfortable and helps keep down the moisture. Try to get a modern eco stove as it will maximize your heat and minimize the amount of fuel needed. We love our multi-fuel eco Hobbit Stove from Salamander Stoves. Please keep up the good work as we love your videos!

Hi Lee. I am a long time subscriber & love your videos & appreciate your lifestyle. However... I need to comment here after watching this video. So .. just in case you are not aware: 1. when foraging seaweed it needs to be cut with something sharp (scissor or knife) above the roots. If seaweed is pulled then roots come away & seaweed will not grow in that spot again!!! If using seaweed for garden - take it from the seaweed that's already washed up on the shoreline. 2. I think the leaves that ye were feeding the kid goats are = hydrangea leaves - both leaves and flowers of this plant are highly toxic to those animals!!! Bye for now. Regards. Rose 🌸

Hi I have just stumbled on your channel, welcome to Ireland ... Those cloths on the tree might well be what's known in Ireland as a Rag tree ,/raggedy bush , the trees are usually Hawthorn but I've seen them on other native trees too ,often there's water near the tree which is a Holy well , so way back in time they believed hanging strips of cloth fromm the tree would make their prayers be heard , they're often referred to as "Clouite trees " slang word for rag in the Irish language .
