How fast where All vehicles going?? We do not know how fast the pickup was going?? Was it going the speed limit?? The 3 cars seem to be more of a danger since by their speed they where going faster than Every vehicle since they sped past more vehicles than the pickup!!

Weather is a factor, winters in the US. Also most Americans commute to work, some an hour or more, they are not going to drive a scooter for an hour each way to work. Now if you live in a dense city they might work. I'm doing a 3-month vacation here in Thailand and you see the scooters everywhere but for many of those people driving the scooters that's their primary vehicle that they drive daily.

When i was in my teens my father used to take the family often on sunday afternoons for a drive up & down seven lakes drive. I didn't appreciate it much at the time, but now, wow I have such good fuzzy warm memories of it!
