The Knox & Kane Railroad started tourist operations in 1987. Gettysburg Railroad continued to operate under Sloan's control from 1976 to 1996 (Pioneer Lines took over). Prior to Knox & Kane and Gettysburg, Sloan Cornell operated his short Penn View Mountain Railroad. Besides operating the 38 at Gettysburg and then Knox & Kane, he also operated the 76 (went to Ohio Central in 1998, then to Steam Institute in 2005 and now at Oakland, Maryland as of 2018 with 3254 and then 1278.

They also used a narrow gauge dummy unit at some other Railroad and Tweetsie Railroad

I went to edaville For Thomas land they still have the dummy unit Thomas (at least in 2022) in a video but the new owner was already there so maybe they’re going to do something with it soon….

He has also visited other Railroads like the Delaware river railroad (Which Now uses the dummy unit) and a friend told me he visited Minnesota (That’s where I’m from) I suggest you make a part 2 to gain more views. Great Job Earned a new sub!

We really dogged a bullet by not having this movie getting finalised. All the same, I do see the upcoming Marc Forster film borrowing elements from the cancelled movie like Thomas having to reunite with a father and son and the steam team including diesel witnessing the rise of electric engines.
