Rest in Peace, Marcy. Your image on 9/11 is seared into the minds of everyone who witnessed and experienced that day alike. You escaped an unimaginable horror that day, only to be faced with an aggressive cancer that didn’t just pop up out of thin air. The fact that this is an open question as to whether or not the cancer is directly related to the events on 9/11 - is reprehensible. It disturbs me to know that first responders and firefighters are engaged in “battle” as they fight various diseases and ailments, (with the lion’s share) of course being from 9/11. Anyone trying to dispute or inhibit this process is evil.

God bless her. I hope she rests in peace and her beautiful kids are ok.

I was 10 when I saw her picture in a magazine a couple weeks after 9/11. I remember crying when I saw her because I remember thinking how could anyone do this to other people. Same thing with the "jumping man" . I felt scared for everyone.

R.I.P. she was very beautiful, it really hurts to know that even in wake of a tragedy she still could not afford the basics of costly medication. It's just a slap in the face to what she went through and her horrifying aftereffects; much, much similar to the first responders who went through the ordeal as well. Words cannot completely sum up my frustration for her, her family & remaining 9/11 surviving loved ones; R.I.P. Miss Marcy, you will never, ever be forgotten.

God bless her. She was a strong woman, over coming addiction, dealing with post traumatic stress. The things she must have seen, oh my god. Stomach cancer took my dad too. God bless her soul. You should be proud of her. She's a legend. I think of her all the time. God bless you all xxx 🇮🇪
