I usually just do resin pours , but this time quant to do acrylic on wood with a clear coat of resin . How long should I wait for the acrylic to dry before I pour a clear coat of resin?

How much silicone is added to the paint? Is it added to all the colors or only the white?

yes I would!! more layers=more texture you can gently sand and gesso the surface if you prefer it smooth

Oh I forgot to say, I always do several coats of gesso on canvas before doing art on it!

Thank you so much for this 🙌🏾🙌🏾💕 I am a new person who really has found a love for painting particularly acrylic pours and some other abstracts as well, but I have such a mess, even with paint tape ,and trying to avoid it dripping everywhere has been difficult,recently I have been inquiring on what I should do with my paintings to cover up the mess ups on the back,one word of advice was to paint the back of the spots with kilz paint but that's a bit much I'm finding out it still takes one to two coats to cover up the mess, so I just googled lol what can I do with the mess on the back of my canvases and then you popped up Miss Caren!! thank you so much for every word that you've spoken because you're right it's a desire to me it's not a gift or talent. It's nothing I've ever done really before, I'm 56 years old and I just started enjoying this type of art and I absolutely love doing it so again thank you so much. My paintings will now forever.
