Dear Sir. An empty space can be filled with any card and work as a cell. A card from the stuck can go only to an empty space. Am I correct?

I find this game delightful! Especially enjoy the sfx and Stooges reference. Fun Fact: Editors often have assorted unused clips at the end of their timeline when finished and refer to this collection of outtakes as "the boneyard".

This game looks great but I can’t find rules for this game anywhere. Were those rules published but the United States Playing Card Company in 1950 also? When I look up idiots delight I find three very different games: Aces Up (Drivel Patience/Firing Squad version), King Albert, and Perpetual Motion. However I also read “idiots delight” is a a pejorative term for any patience or card solitaire. Does this game have an alternative name?

Can u take a entire run and put it on another card? First example you have a queen in one place and a jack , 10 and a 9 in a nother space. So could you take the jack with the cards below it and put it on the queen?

Why is idiots delight called aces up

Card guy. This doesn’t look like the aces up game I’m familiar with. Can you do the other aces up, with the four card tableau and the discard pile? I think this version you play is more commonly known as Easthaven.

My family has been playing this for generations. Our rules are slightly different, but it’s really cool to see other people playing it!

After playing a round, I realized that getting Aces early in the game can block your ability in unwinding/rewinding, hindering progress. So it's best not to fill up the empty spaces right away and risk getting an Ace early in the game.

What happens when the reserve pile is gone?

tried this 5 times. first 3 games, i was only able to make a couple moves. last 2 games lasted a little longer, but woof. This doesn't seem "highly winnable" at all!

I’m confused learning this cause some ppl will place cards on each foundation that match the first foundation only. And some people will match the cards to the foundation above it only. Which is the right way? And most ppl don’t replenish the reserve pile like you did. Trying so hard to learn this lol

I am confused. At one point, you said only kings can go in an empty spot but earlier in the game you had moved a queen into the empty spot.

I have thought of a way to add strategy to this game, which is virtually all luck and can be frustrating if you don’t get the right cards. I’ve added a second way to pick up cards, which would be having three in a row - doesn’t matter what color, just ranking. If you have three in a row horizontally vertically or diagonally, you can pick those three cards up too. That adds strategy and makes it much more fun! What do you think?

so you must follow suit on any clock hour? what if all clock cards by random chance are hearts (or nearly all). You can't do anything. Also the kings should be removed.

Found the rule pdf on wikipedia. This seems the lax interpretation. And still... I would add more options. knowing in advance I have a 99.5% chance of not winning, starting this up will take some courage.

3:45 you should cover the 10. okay played it once, got stuck around half way. Unless you have a rule that 3 cards can add up to 10, at least. But even with that, I got into a situation with very high and very low cards that did not add up to exactly 10. So no, it doesn't seem like a game that can be solved.

In minute 10:08 can't you take the 5 of clubs and place it in the first column below the 6 of diamonds so you can take the 6 of hearts to the fundation? Or is it forbidden to move only one card?
