Hanuman Crash Landing
In the celestial realm, Hanuman, the devoted servant of Lord Rama, embarked on a divine mission. Suddenly, a cosmic disturbance sent him hurtling towards the earth. For this track I went back to my roots and sampled traditional Ukrainian folk vocals and an instrument called bandura, combined with latin-inspired percussions. My aim was to balance tender melodies with driving rhythms to create a moody, progressive organic sound. #organichouse #progressivehouse #українськінародніпісн #кращіукраїнськіпісн #українськіпісн #УкраїнськіПопулярніПісн #УкраїнськаМуз...

Pitch slider is the GOAT when it comes to quickly finding the aligned BPM. Looks mystical AF too, like you understand the turntables language.
Can i ask a question...you know when you nudge the pitch fader slight off and the 0 pitch light is still on.. has the pitched moved or does the light need to be off to have gone + or - ?
Hey there! Yes, however, the area right around zero is slightly inaccurate. Even if the light just went off, you may not get the response you expect. The workaround is to change the pitch on both decks, so that the new track moves away from zero, making it easier to beat match.
@@TRESSHOFF Great thanks - I'll give that a go. I thought something was off slightly.
What is Phase syncing ???😮 also great video❤
@@pkliskiki1800 what I was trying to say is your BPM can be in-sync, but your kicks can be missaligned, so you need to “phase shift” your new track by adjusting and resetting the pitch ❤️
Well that was fast
Thanks for the demo
Cool
vinyl not vynil
You don't spin vynil?
@@officialrivv no, what is it?
This is exactly what I am working on right now! It's just a touch trickier to mix drum&bass 🫣 Oh, and most importantly: Слава Україні! 🌻🇺🇦
I never dared mix DnB - but looks like the most fun a dj could ever have) Reeewind… tooo tooo tooo 😗 Героям Слава! 🇺🇦❤️
Its pretty easy with that kind of music the pitch is perfect , try it with music recorded with real instruments the bpm it’s all over the place lol .
Yeah, I never even considered mixing non-electronic music. I’m sure it’s a different ballgame
True. Many 70s and 80s tunes from Disco to New Wave are too hard for long mixes.
How do you find the allen & heath? Been considering one recently
It’s absolutely solid, looks, feels and sounds great. Dedicated phono inputs with individual gain knobs - awesome for using record players and digital inputs at the same time. On the down side, the only effect you get is filter+resonance. Cheers!
Easiest way is .. set your record you want to match at a higher speed , drop it and keep wiggling the pitch down n up quickly until they are matched . Takes seconds
Will Try this just got a set of 1200's and xone 92 , been on pioneer for over ten years 😂 not to easy to get to grips with smashed a few seamless
@@88layts its not hard . Very easy , just drop it and hold the platter pin at centre and wiggle that pitch .. youl hear it match up in seconds . I rarely touch the record once dropped just wiggle the pitch , once its there just a slight push or hold to line the start of beats tight and thats it 👌 . Dont " chase it " youl be forever touching the record . Drop , hold pin , wiggle wiggle pitch .. 3 or 4 seconds of that and job done
Never touch the record or platter. Smoothest way to mix is pitch riding
Super lletgo DJ'S 🎉💛💙
Bin the controller the shit my 6 year old son can mix on one of them … anybody can use cdjs and controllers but takes skill to use vinyl and beat match compared to looking at a screen at the bpm or using sync 👍🏻
Controllers are definitely easier. CDJs, especially the older ones, are actually deceptively tricky. Anything short of pretending to play a pre-recorded set is fine by me.
@@TRESSHOFF yeah Ano the old cdj 1000 mk3 I used them before most cdjs after that become lazy in my eyes but they are good for new releases and playing new productions but a would prefer to use traktor for that just shame not many clubs and events use technics 1210s anymore and easier to just turn up with a usb now
Nice! I’m on the hunt for some turntables to start learning myself.
Awesome, it’s a lot of fun. I found these on Facebook - old, but working perfectly. Make sure your mixer has phono inputs or get preamps. 👊
Do you have phono preamp before mixer, or TT's are connected straight to the mixer? Thanks in advance
I used to need preamps with the old mixer, but xone 23 has dedicated phono inputs with built-in preamps, so they plug straight in. Cheers!
Wow!
Yeah, this is the way I used to do it but I use my laptop now I’m lazy
Sure, vinyl is inconvenient compared to digital, but on the plus side, it’s also more expensive.
Красавчик, продолжай в том же духе :) 🎉
Magnifique ❤
Merci! 🙏❤️
👍👍👍
This is good practice
Needed sped up a tad
I kno 😊 I even reached for it
Dont touch the record. Learn how to only use the pitch fader. The only time u should touch the record is for cueing. Look up "pitch riding".
Yea, I’ve been practicing that: czcams.com/users/shortsb7TeYYXXpBQ?si=06lJSr-Xv14CXbSj
I don't know why everyone says you can't touch the record. I've been DJing 28 years and still nudge the record without any issues. Each to their own, but there's no issue once you learn how much pressure to use (or not use).
the 2 nd track id?

Which vinyls are they? Great tunes

@@TRESSHOFF thanks so much my friend ^_^
Perfect demonstration. Anyone that calls themselves a DJ MUST be able to do this. 😅
Nah. Not really.
Hard disagree. Archaic gatekeeping is so 2009
Agreed might accidentally do a grimes, it’s not very hard to learn might take a few tries but once you get the hang of it it’s piss easy
@@levivisser2652beatmatching wouldn’t have saved grimes 🙄🙄🙄
Not to mention it looks very pleasant to play on vinyls
Great stuff man! I’m also learning vinyl too and slowly getting used to beat matching old style 👌🏾
Hello, what is the reference of the spinning machine ?
Hey, sorry, are you asking what type of turntable it is? If so, these are SL1200 MK1, but the surface has been restored/painted.
@@TRESSHOFF thank you! Yes it was what I wanted to know thanksss I appreciate
Love it

So true, it's all done for them these days, no talent involved now.

Thanks! I need to get back to making vids 😅
This button is illegal 😂
always use SYNC button guys. never listen to those idiots who tell you must not use it. they are just morons =)
Bro, wtf is wrong with beat sync!? As long as you properly cue the track and it sounds great, why the hell not? (Except when you're using turntables, that's when you're ruining the point using them).
This button is illegal LOL 😂🤡
Add that with people trying to talk to u or make requests. Sorry no AC/DC today
People flashing phones with REGGAETON written on em 😅
Fuck the haters bro, love this shit 🫶🏻
All good 🙏
Lesson no 1
Also the only lesson 😅
After being 4 hours constantly mixing.... I get tired, ppl are drunk dancing ... I don't care
that button is not illegal mate . you guys are overreacting about it . beatmatching is not hard as you think so why you bring so much effort when you got the easy way.
Someone want to tell James Hype he isn't allowed to use sync ? Lol😂
I saw an interview where he said he never uses sync, doesn’t know how it work and restarts the decks if the previous dj had it on. Maybe it was joke?
That was clean. And I love the vinyls
To all the sync button haters.... sync is there for a reason. To be used, period! It helps when u have too much going on at once. It saves time. But for it to work properly, ur beatgrids have to be on point, otherwise, ur mix will sound like a train wreck. Hence, it's important to make sure all ur tracks in ur library are prepared beforehand (setting cue points, name them, adjust the beatgrid if need be, etc...)
Track id?
Akiko Kiyama - Feuertanz EP
Watching people beat matching with a display telling them the exact tracks bpm is the biggest cringe ever. Beat matching is for all analog vinyl mixing by ear not the current age of all digital mixing. It is a waste of time and some what a way to look busy behind a mixer. People need to get over this whole idea of you need to be able to beatmatch to be a dj.
You´re talking nonsense. It´s like stating that you dont need drawing skills for creating a picture because there are programs who can do this for you.
If it was illegal why do company’s put it on the controller? It’s a tool just like every other button. 🤷🏻♂️ Some people use it some people don’t. It does not define who you are as a Dj. Just like driving an automatic car vs a stick shift does not define you as a driver.
Hey, I don’t make up the rules, but everybody knows that if you get caught with than button blinking, you could get your DJ license suspended and you might have to go to DJ court to explain yourself. The controller companies are in on it.
@@TRESSHOFF 😂😂😂😂😂😂 u a troll for this one 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
