Really gr8t info 👍🏼🤠✌🏻
Thanks for watching !
NSA 43.5gr rule out of all my Talonp 25's. Currently working on a 177 cal, reg'd Talonp for hog hunting! 👍🏼
Will make a video soon for my chnnl 👍🏼🤠✌🏻
1" grp is 50yds is hunting 👍🏼 Būt, ur Air psi has a bell curb.
ohh yea... again thanks for commenting.
You are one of a few who make these videos that are fully understandable! Tyvm and keep it up! 👍🏼🤠✌🏻
Thanks for the positive comments. Take Care !
I need vulcan tictecal gauge pl
I am not sure but maybe Talon Tunes has one ???
Love airforce, especially the talonp. Compact, reliable, accurate, and powerful lil beast
ohh yea, thanks for watching my friend !
You said moisture getting inside causing corrosion weakening from inside, would it not be possibly to pull a vacuum on air tanks on guns to remove moisture, like as a maintenance task? A vacuum is easily pulled by a pump from someplace like Harbor Freight, just like pulling a vacuum on a cars AC system.
yep there are a few ways to get water out of these tanks the best is to make sure the new air in the system is moister free as it reduces the overall humidity. Hope that makes sense.
Ok. 49.5 Altaro slugs 920fps out of my .25 Vulcan 3 has definitely changed the long range game for me. They really handle the wind much much better than your traditional slugs. Was hitting a 6inch gong at 500 yards the other day. I’m beyond impressed. Of course they are crazy expensive…..
I am in n. Wales 🏴 uk I only use 177 for hunting like you say it’s down to pellet placement
ohhh yeahhh. seen some great shots at 87 yards with only 12FPE .... good stuff.
I think youre being a bit over cautious. 5/3 is test pressure, burst pressure is sometimes 7/3-8/3. Brittleness of composites is the biggest threat other than impacts. The most likely blowout is burst disk, and or the line or Oring failure. And dont play loose with the cheap Amazon chinese components unless they meet or exceed the wall.thickness to 5/3 pressure ratio. I dont trust anything lesser thwn 6061 9mm thick for <55mm ID. ALSO ALWAYS protect Fiberglass or CF from sunlight.
Thanks for the input yea, just messing with that much PSI is kind of freaky sometimes so I am paranoid lol..... Thanks for watching .
@ShootingTargets727 I completely understand. Every time I fill the cylinder on my guns I sit there mentally picturing a catastrophic deafening blast and shards of shrapnel going in to my eyes and teeth and a nice sized jagged fragment slicing my carotid, picturing my neck garden hosing red juice and my un fragmented eye rolling back while I convulse and gargle when trying to scream for help.. so I'm with you. But the fact cylinders meet CE/DOT/ISO standards means they are absolutely over engineered and the working pressures are less than a walk in the park to them does help comfort me. Hatsan, And the chinese amazon only manufactured stuff not made by alsafe, liaonlaing*sp and Subang Xiamen (tuxing/yong heng/acecare/spritech).. like the oil water filters with 5-6mm unspecified aluminum are way too iffy for me. Also amaxon selling 3000/200bar aluminum cylinders listed as 30MPA/300 BAR cylinders scares me for the sake of the lesser intellectually endowed among us.
@@ScrotalsbySackington lol i know right...
Paintball HPA systems in that era were 3000psi. I remember my first air america Armageddon system. By 2003/4 4500 was standard
500th like on video 🎉
LOL thanks man man !
So , I got this 1.6 liter tank because I didn’t watch your video which is greatly in depth ,and i also subscribed , I am wondering if I can directly connect this 1.6 liter to my hatsan piledriver .50 cal and have the line connected and shoot from that directly attached to the gun. Also I have other air guns but the tank is gonna be sick for my .22 pcp , but I am curious. If you have time I appreciate you if you answer and well regardless , I appreciate you . I make airgun videos too. I just found you 🎉
ahh so you are asking about shooting tethered. Yes it can be done but and I me Be careful and make sure you have the right setup and pressure fills for both tanks figured out. You are probably better to find a down converter or down regulator or an external regulator that way you can fine tune you shots. Especially if it is 50 cal for the best accuracy. Shooting tethered. I do have a video on external regulators or top things you need for airgunning that might help. Again just be careful hooking up and using external lines to your PCP. thanks man !
Can an HPA tank be filled with a PCP compressor?
Yes there are adapters. You need to be careful on the settings of the tank and the compressor settings. Some tanks only allow 2K psi others 1K. Also you need special fittings to make this happen depending on your HPA tanks.
what do you recommend for a budget around $500?
Are looking for a light weight scanner or something that is more for viewing ? Agt has a light weight thermal monocular if you wan to just detect an animal? If you want quality dual eye viewing then the binocular scanners are the way to go but they are heavy. This area is improving fast so each month something new is coming out. Wish I could be more help.
Vulcan 🖖 hands down
I have some questions about the V3. Is the barrel/shroud rigid enough to carry the rifle in a backpack style scabbard barrel positioned down without causing p.o.i. shift? Does the barrel foul quickly? If you had to choose between the V3 or FX M3 for slug hunting out to 200 yards which one would you go with? .22 or .25 ?
Touch questions. So the V3s are tougher built but carrying it on a barrel not sure, it should be tough enough but I would not trust carying it upside down without POI shift or just aobut any air rifle for that matter. Does the barrels foul quicker I kind of think so vs the M3. Just my take but for me I think if you find the rifle and the slug you should be good but me using a bunch of slugs and testing I think once you find the correct one you should be ok. The tougher rifle is the V3 over the M3 in my testing. IT is heavier, thicker build quality. The m3 though has easier tuning. I did however shoot dime size groups at 55 yards out of the box so my hats off with the v3s. Overall id take a v3 over the m3....
@@ShootingTargets727 Thanks for getting back. .22 or .25 out to 200 yards?
@@jowho9992 man tough call. id go with the .25 for a little more power / BC but that all depends on the slugs it likes. a draw on that one.
I am with a budget platform kral arms Bigmax X doesn't have a regulator but has changeable barrels currently running .25 and .30 cal mostly 30 couse enjoying heavier hitting projectiles however accuracy is much better with tiny calibers. And gone for 2nd barrel becouse of the price difference compared to new rifle and also the fact that I do not have much more space available living in small apartment with a family and dog probably will upgrade at ater point to FX or if there is better platform but for the moment this is doing a great job with external Huma regulator 300 yards easy or 100 meters is doing 2 inch group with 5 shots in .30 cal or slightly less on a good day and is 111 foot pounds with just harder hammer spring and no ports enlargment.
Excellent accruacy thanks for sharing ...
Also thanks for watching and the sub.
Yes 1 bag for everything airgun rekated would be great i,ncluding rifle
Much Thanks for watching !
V2 is smaller and better
Nice, good to hear.
Hello Mr. In your opinion, to avoid getting the type and weight wrong..., which type of Griffin slug has the best grouping in the Vulcan lll 25 gauge Barrell 700 mm? With the 44 grain Javelin ll gen I can't get a good grouping at 950/960 fps at a distance of 100 yards! Thank you
I wish I could help you really do but this is sadly one of those things that weight speed, barrel dirty or clean really matters. All I can say is try as much as you can in a scientific way. I am not sponsered by vulcan and the information like you know is limited. You could reach out to Talon Tunes maybe ? Thanks again for watching.
Tell about your reply from FX RE you Panthera
Weill I no longer have any fx products just an FYI as of 2024 for the last few years if that is a answer.
Very good explanation. I agree 100%. Spot on accuracy and good fpe. That is why I love my Airforce Condor SS in.25. Wood match splitting accuracy at thirty yards done successfully by myself. It also packs alot of fpe. Plus quiet enough to not scare the pest or game animals away for the rest of the day.
Thanks Again for watching !
I'm not an air shooter but .22's. Still wondering if this one could do the job at measuring .22 speeds. It seems to me that there is very little gap between the regular .22 speed (say 330 m/s) and the spec limits which is <335 m/s. What do you think about this?
How is the Seneca Aspen holding up you? Please let me know should I keep or sell it? It look like Seneca is no longer selling them or no has them in stock anymore. I still haven't even shoot mine yet.
Good so far !
Good info, thank you
you bet
Excellent PSA. Thank you. I also recommend this one. czcams.com/video/yeoRG1DCNI8/video.html
A question if it actually gives the 52 powers, thank you and greetings
Well it is a digital zoom as mentioned in the video so it is grainy. Best zoom is 1 to like 6 power then become very grainy afterwards. Not a real zoom if that is what you are thinking.
The altaros external Inline Pressure Regulator is quite compact compared to the one u use ! def. advised for the condor
Yea, I been thinking about them, Thanks for the heads up ...
@@ShootingTargets727 yep. Unlikey of getting a bell curve with a high power pcp like a condor or Texan. It'll drop straight down from the first shot depending on the weight of the pellet. Usually the inbuilt regs rob some power but the inline regs can be setup exactly at the sweet spot which is great if you know where that is in your condor.
I wish you would make more videos I really enjoy your channel buddy.
Hey much thanks for watching. Yea I have a few in the works thanks again....
Buy American. Best value for money for sure.
Hello, what size is the hole in the Top Hat piston for the .308? Thanks
No idea
Now I'm wondering... Would it be possible to get rid of the built on air tank, plug the hole where that tank would've been and just shoot right from the big tank permanently?
yes, or I should say it has been done with some guns. They just go external regulator and a hose.
I have a Mad Dog stock for my Condor, too. It takes patience and time to put the mad dog stock because the Condor is an intricately (the grub screws drive me crazy) built. However, it's worth it when it's done. Condor is a beautiful pcp airgun..simple in design but reliable and very powerful. I have far more advanced guns: Huben; Edgun; but I love the feel of the Condor. I can shoot it in my backyard with enough power to punch through steel chair backs. Not so much with my Texan .457 carbine. That thing sounds like an M-80. But I love'em both.😊
Great to hear !
I would like to increase the FPS and FPE. There is a video out there called: “Artemis, PP750 power adjustment modifications.” Dan Geib. Have you ever considered modifying your gun? My concern is shot count. He is getting about 800 FPS and 20 FPE with these modifications. There are no extra parts. All he did was adjustments and some drilling. I don’t know how many shots he’s getting Per fill?
Sorry I have not really considered modifying it !.
From the UK here but have access to a few different power levels. I agree with you about how on small varmints you need less than 5 ftlbs on impact. Muzzle energy is less important than muzzle velocity and the coefficient to retain that velocity. Weve come a long way from diablos and a .22 20gr slug coming out at 850fps is a fantastically accurate, effective, and safe varmint hunter. Flatish tragectory great power rention, efficient on air usage, quiet and hits like a train on rabbits out at 50-90yards which is a good enough distance to stalk to without spooking them
Indeed here in the US all that is talked about is POWER...... Thanks for commenting.
I got the Avenger in .25 fortunately this non chocked no crown having barrel is shooting the FX hybrids one hole at 25 yards and I get dime size at 100, with my Reg at 2800 tuned for the 34.95 grain JSB’s at 850 fps so the hybrids are 26 grain and over 1000 fps I’m happy
wow excellent !
That avenger is a good platform for those who have learned about pneumatic rifles coming from center fire, it’s challenging for us new to the PCP world
30 ft. Pounds in a .177 is high power in my opinion not a con.
yep for a .177 that is usually blazing. Thanks for watching.
Can you show more footage of the airguns? The targets are interesting, but would love to see the Vulcan in action.Thank you.
😀
Great review as usual, honest and full details. Thanks for your time and we appreciate your honesty and knowledge
😀
On AliExpress the sell them for 150 dollars and the valve is 40 dollar 😅
Excellent ! Thanks for the information !
Looks like a bad copy of the Western Sidewinder mini(Amazing airgun). Yes, FX is so overrated. Ive read so many bad reviews about Fx's (all models). On the used pcp airgun websites there are so many Fx models. Look up Airgun Warriors classified, and you will see for yourself. Ive got a Huben .25 K1, a Texan CF .45 Carbine, AEA Terminator .357, and AAA Evol. I love them all and can highly recommend all of them.
Air force makes great rifles. I own. A Condor and a CF .457 carbine Texan. Although I love Air Force and they honor their warranties. I wish they'd create more designs like a carbon fiber bottle option FOR ALL models, not just .45 caliber and .50 caliber.
Amen yep get more shots.
Please come back we miss you dude
lol... Yea ill be back in a little while....
@@ShootingTargets727 🥳
I shot the very first 100 yard sub inch group ….on you tube . It’s horrid to tune and it’s not a great gun . It’s not for me buddy . They have made this a whole bunch better now
😀
I think it is a very excellent rifle. How much is it? Do you recommend it for hunting at distances of 100 meters to 130 meters ? 22 caliber? For hunting birds approximately 5 cm in diameter. Approximately 2 inches. Please answer my question
sorry for the late reply I just got this… Yes should be good for that purpose.
Has anyone tried using those heat patches to wrap around the gun to heat it up, especially around the air chamber to get more velocity? Thanks.
I have not, i was always worried because of the variance in accuracy from heat going up and down especially in cold weather.
I'm wondering how much pressure to leave in my air pistols for pest control as I will need to use it immediately rather than pump it up. One pistol has a 300 bar max pressure and the other 35 MPa. I usually leave about 10% less than the max but will leaving it at max pressure for storage be OK?
I leave enough for it to shoot but not at max just my way of doing it. Hope this helps.
My 25cal AF Talon places pellets far smaller than 1” And that’s without a regulator, the only thing I replaced was the stock moderator. Installed a talon tunes moderator but I’ve reworked its guts with a different configuration. A hard hitting sub MOA rifle @ Sub $1k OTD I’ll keep my talon and use the money I saved from not buying a $2k+ rifle to purchase ammo and other gadgets.
Hey not going to lie, I have always struggled with airforce rifles. The tightest i have go so far is dime size groups at 5 shots at 55 yards but my accuracy comes and goes. hmmmm Still going to rework it this summer and see if I can get more consistent accuracy then push it out to 100 yards. Many people will say its not a bench gun I agree but other die hards say they will print 1 inch groups.. hmmm work in progress
5:02 "on a island there is no wind blowing", do you know how islands work? the wind on a small island or coast blows always harder because the wind can travel freely over the water without obstacles before hitting the coast/island. The wind on the panthera video was legit, thats why you hear the guy in the beginning of the video saying "if i hit it we are going" and he refered to when he will hit the can he will start filming, and than he shoot the cans without much time inbetween the shots. Which tells me they did not hit everyshot and once they hit a test can they know the wind and shoot real quick 4-5 times on a can before the wind changes to much and they would have missed. Also check out the Video "What is Mach Trimming? In Depth Discussion with Bryan Litz (22LR Breakthrough)" from the youtube channel Ultimate Reloader, there he is interviewing a scientist who does work for lapua or the government to calculate and research projectile trajectories etc. and he mentioned that with .22lr and airguns you will start missing after 220-250 meters because the G1 and G7 drag model everyone uses for calculation will start to be inacurate.
ahh that makes sense, I do the same, If i know its going to go and the faster the better in shooting to get say 1 to 5 shots really quick. Thanks for the insight.
