How do you mix it and what is the dosage?
Hello sir , I am currently in canada I have done my bachelors and masters from India then moved to canada on study permit and done my 2 year of diploma from a college and now I am planning to pursue my PHD from Canadian university, but the thing is I have really bad CGPA (below 6) in my bachelors but then I have really good CGPA in my masters (above 8.5) and then decent GPA (3.2/4) in my college degree that I did from canada . So is it possible for me to get admission for PHD in a Canadian university like MCMaster?
From wich article is the figures at 15:15?

How do you ensure there is no plasmid DNA?
A potassium acetate solution is used in the protocol to neutralize the sample and separate the plasmid DNA from the genomic DNA (gDNA). The smaller plasmid DNA tends to renature easily while the larger, more complicated gDNA remains denatured and precipitates out of the solution. This takes care of most of the plasmid DNA from the genomic DNA prep.
Useful sir.
Thank you!
Sir if i apply for Ecology will they ask me questions regarding Ecology and Evolution only or they can ask questions from cell biology, technical, etc. as well?
Hi Bidipta, as you know, nowadays biology is highly interdisciplinary in nature. A research project is almost never pure "ecology", "evolution", or "cell biology." So if the panel asks you how to approach a research question, they will expect you to think about and discuss different techniques and model systems (flies/mice/yeast). So the answer is yes, they may ask you questions related to other disciplines if they are relevant. Hope that helps. All the best!
in some review paper, it mentioned that right border is essential rather than left border because at right border thats were D2 recognized and binds
Interesting. Do post the link to the paper, would love to look at it and update the video.
Thank you so much for this!!
Most welcome!
this is a great lecture, thank you!
Thank you!
very nice! well explained. which buffer do we need for CD run? I think 20-50uL of 0.2-0.5mg/mL concentrated protein is required right?
Thanks! You'd need at least 150 uL for a 1 mm path length cuvette. Regarding protein concentration, 0.2-0.5 mg/mL is a good start. However, it may vary depending on the secondary structure content. You can start with a concentrated protein solution and dilute accordingly. @@SpartanTutorials Thanks a lot! Truly appreciate your help.
Sir I'm getting asked - "have you applied anywhere else?" a lot of times. What should be the correct answer to it?
There is no wrong answer here. Just be open and tell them what's true. If you have applied to other institutes, tell the interview panel about them and your reasons for applying to them. This will help the interviewers in knowing more about your research interests.
@@SpartanTutorials thankyou sir
Sir you explained everything every point crystal clear

Indian veritasium Jokes apart Loving your video sir, thank you for sharing your knowledge in such wonder way
Thank you so much for the kind words! Glad to know you liked the video!
why do we only label the 5’ end
Good question! We only label the 5' end because we want to be able to distinguish the different bands produced by DNase I digestion and match them in the order of their sequence. As I explained in the video, we also run a sequencing gel to know exactly where the protein binds. If we had labeled both ends, we would get a mixture of fragments from both ends and we would not be able to sort them.
@@SpartanTutorials then why don’t we label the 3’ end only
@@whatevz1p We can, but then the sequence will be read backwards. Why make life difficult? 😀

Food safety standards in India are just futile. Government never take any action against such big companies for selling slow poison.

My son is type 1 diabetic we are in California in United States how do we get rid of this
Sorry to hear. Please consult your family physician, they''ll determine the best course of treatment. Wishing your son a speedy recovery.
I'm really allergic to mold spores, so I might be able to at least offer a few suggestions based off of what I've learned about killing funguses in general. Borax is a good fungicide, so you can add it to laundry and mop water. You can add a few spoonfuls to bathwater, too. Don't ingest. Vinegar is another good fungicide. Good as a cleaning product. Apple cider vinegar can be used internally, or you can eat pickles with your meals. I usually opt for the capsules to avoid dissolving the enamel on my teeth. I take it with my vitamins to aid absorption Oregano oil is good at killing bad bacteria without harming good bacteria, since most good bacteria has a lipid layer that the oregano oil can't penetrate. It seems to be a decent fungicide as well. Add a few drops to ice water. It's best to drink it through a straw or with a water bottle with a spout because it can burn your lips. I like to add flavoring, because the taste isn't great. I use propel powder. Use watered down vaginal yeast infection cream as a moisterizer instead of lotion. (You can just put it on with damp hands) Minimal sugar and bread consumption, but I assume you're already doing that. Don't eat peanuts grown in the US deep south. The environment is much wetter than their native environment, and causes them to grow trace amounts of toxic mold while still in the soil. Ones from places like Arizona or Peru are fine. You can inhale tea tree oil for lung infections. Either put some in boiling water and put a towel over your head, or you can get one of those ultrasonic scent vaporizors and breath the mist in directly. A bit of sun can help kill fungus on skin. And don't immediately wash off ocean water if you go to the beach. The salt and wild microflora seem to do a number on fungus. You can dot povidone iodine on any itchy erruptions. Just a few ideas for general maintenance. Anything more severe than a basic rash should be seen by a doctor. Hope this helps.
Thank you sir
Glad you found the video helpful.

I've used Retatrutide for 6 weeks now. 2 mg/wk. My A1C was 8.3. I cut all sugary desserts, eat only btw 12 noon and 7pm, and brisk walk each day. I've been weight training for 30 years so that stayed the same. My sugar now ranges between 87-115. That equates to 4.65-5.6 A1C. Weight went from 220 to 188. Occasionally get lightheaded when I get up fast. Maybe due to low potassium or not being hydrated enough. Otherwise no other side effects.
Hi Mark, Great to know your good experience with the drug and nice to see improvement with all the useful markers - weight, blood glucose, and HbA1c. I think your lifestyle also contributed a lot.
How did you get the drug ?
Thats wonderful I'm on mounjaro where did you get the drug please?
The lightheaded feeling is probably your blood pressure falling a bit low I'm an RN I'd get it checked

Phenol chloroform ke jagah pe ethyl bhi use ho skta hai
Good question. No, phenol-chloroform is specifically need to remove all the associated proteins. Ethanol is used for removal of salts and precipitation. So both reagents are necessary.
very informative thanks
Thank you!
excellent - most helpful - thanks!
nice explanation but still one important concept i feel is missing in this lecture is how the cut out/ restriction fragment of of ds DNA is able is hybridize with its mRNA counterpart.Dont you think we should make ss DNA first using M13 cloning vector followed by hybridisation and all?
Very well explained
