I have this on my impreza, but cannot remove. The front locking slider will not pull back. Is there a trick to this? Consider cutting off.

Any reason this couldn't be used to carry Fly fishing rods like the ReelDeal? I like the price point of the reeldeal that carries 4 skis or rods, but the lower profile of the Evo.

I have purchased many Yakima products through the years and just purchased the HD rack with many accessories and have been happy with Yakimas products. I,One of the reasons that i went with Yakima is your customer service, they were terrific, but in the last 3 weeks, i have called 13 times, on hold for 30 minutes on 10 of those calls and no one ever picks up. I tried you Bot chat and its horrible...what happened?

I wish this was designed to work on oem bars, which typically do not extend over the width of the vehicle. Seems like an opportunity for a yakima accessory that would help a lot of customers.

I highly reccomend using rachet straps,there more secure then the tie downs

I just have to say I am shocked that your BowsStern tiedowns do not have a carabiner. Such a terrible design to have a hook. You should know better @Yakima Racks and not make such an inferior product that could easily be remedied.

I cannot get my Fullswing to come off the hitch. I think the silver piece on the front left of the hitch piece had separated or gotten loose from the knob so it’s not disengagingz. Any ideas on how to re-engage it to the knob or lock??

What's the point of putting a lock on each of the drawers when you can just unhook the straps and remove it from the vehicle?

I have a 2023 Crosstrek with Timberline + 50 inch jetstream. In what measurement do those timberline thing in the crossbar? I have the inward part of the timberline at "33'' not sure if that's too deep or too close to the edge. :( There's no paper that goes for this info.

Awesome! Or so I thought until I saw the price. I'm not a cheap SOB and spend plenty on high end bikes. But these prices are outrageous! $950 for the smallest base! This isn't handcrafted furniture. Needless to say, I'm a pass.

Why aren’t the bar adapters listed as necessary for installation on the website? I added my car make and model, chose the bars and towers that I have and voila! The Yakima website says that’s all I need. I now try and install and the bar adapters are listed as necessary but not included. I go to Yakima’s website….and they’re out of stock. Super frustrated that this system has had so many necessary components to buy that aren’t outlined when you try and buy the system. Where can I get the bar adapters?

Two rotopax containers mounted this same exact way resulted in about 10” wide crack in my yakima bar. More stress than the bar could handle. Lots of leverage for relatively small mounting area.

Really frustrating that the Bar adapters aren't more specifically referenced when purchasing. Also with the HD cross bar there is only one rubber seal, which side goes up and which side goes down??? One side has measurements and no rubber, the other side has no measurements but does have rubber. Also in the printed instructions it says a minimum of 24 inches between bars, this video say 27 inches. I am completely frustrated by this simple lack of cohesion and direction.

Just had to return these because three of the four skyline towers were defective and damaged the core bars
