BTW, in absolute terms, that performance had been nothing to write home about, The identical one of Kruijswijk had been measured in VAM of 1646 m/h = 6.09 w/kg .

Cyclists are an easy target when talking about doping but loads of other sports must do it. I know a famous former SPL (Scotland) footballer who said in his 15 year SPL carear he was tested no more than 2-3 times a year. I'm not accusing him of taking PED's but a couple of tests a year is a joke
