    Hey Brother! Greetings from Canada! Have been following along for quite some time now and I’m just wondering if you might be able to re list the New Testament references at the end of the video! Usually I will go back and read those references and it would be nice if I didn’t have to rewind the video to find them again! Thanks so much for all your work sir, this study has been immensely helpful in my faith journey!

  • @Bryanwest2571

    All people, having been created in the image and likeness of God, possess an innate and inviolable human right to marriage. Even Gay people. Research has shown that anti-LGB teaching like this increases feelings of anxiety and depression among our gay brothers and sisters. THAT IS NOT LOVING THY NEIGHBOR. Teachings like this are not christian and they are not kind. Promoting homophobia against our brothers and sisters fundamentally betrays Christ's teachings of love and human dignity. It's time we evolve past such un-Christian discrimination. ✝🌈🏳‍🌈

    • @2BeLikeChrist
      @2BeLikeChrist Před dnem

      There are many things wrong with this response. First, yes, it is loving of neighbor. Love does not withhold the truth about sin. Sin sends people to hell. Not condemning it and warning people is the way NOT to love your neighbor. Second, it is false that homosexual people have the “innate” and “inviolable” right to marriage. God defined marriage and its limits. It is the union of a man and a woman. By God’s definition, the union of two same-sex people doesn’t even constitute a marriage. God defined it, and we don’t have the right to change the definition. Your claim that all people have a innate and inviolable right to marriage is completely fabricated in your own mind. Christians will not evolve past calling homosexuality a sin because we cannot evolve past God.

    • @Bryanwest2571
      @Bryanwest2571 Před dnem

      @@2BeLikeChrist You argue that warning people about sin is loving. But who appointed you the arbiter of sin? Jesus Christ himself never uttered a word about homosexuality. Not one. He did, however, have plenty to say about judging others and excluding people. Now, let's talk about this "definition" of marriage. Marriage has evolved constantly throughout history and across cultures. Polygamy, arranged marriages - all were once considered "biblical." We've moved past those, haven't we? Why? Because what's considered a biblical marriage isn't that straightforward, even if you might like to believe so. Let's be honest here - conservative Christianity has a track record of being on the wrong side of history when it comes to civil rights and moral issues. From supporting slavery and segregation, to being against women's suffrage and a woman's right to vote - in each case, conservative Christians clung to their narrow interpretations of scripture to justify oppression and inequality. And now, here we are again with LGB rights. How many times does conservative Christianity need to play catch-up with moral progress before you consider that maybe your interpretation isn't the infallible moral truth you think it is? Look, I know this is a deeply personal and sensitive issue. We're all trying to understand and live out our faith as best we can. I just encourage that you open your heart.

    • @2BeLikeChrist
      @2BeLikeChrist Před dnem

      Your critical mistake is assuming the only things God wanted to communicate to men came through the mouth of Jesus. This is incorrect and shows a fundamental misunderstanding of the Christian faith. You pretend as though Jesus didn’t ordain and inspire Apostles to carry His message and teaching. Jesus explains why polygamous marriages were tolerated by God, but the idea of them representing an evolving view of marriage that could in any way lead to the acceptance of LGBT marriage is frankly ridiculous. Jesus taught men to return to non-polygamous marriages, because polygamous marriages were a result of the stubborn hearts of men. Considering the Old Testament flat out condemns same sex relations, your use of the Old Testament is strange. Don’t knit pick your way through the Bible to throw smoke on the traditional definition of marriage while ignoring the verses that blatantly reject your argument. Same sex relations have been condemned by God at every point in history, that isn’t my opinion, that’s straight out of the Old and New Testament. If you want to discard the Scriptures so you can “open your heart,” that’s your decision, but don’t encourage others to reject God’s messengers.

  • @joshuamartinpryce1237

    God doesnt hate people if He did everyone who go to hell, and He would not be so proactive in blessing people who do not like Him. God is not liked by most yet, He loves with a love of choosing someone after they disappoint Him through consistent forgiveness. But God hates sin, and it detests Him.

    Maybe my interpretation is wrong, but it would seem the ritual was done for the day of atonement. The lot was actually very rare for a priest to be chosen and might only happen once in his lifetime. The large gathering and hour of prayer most likely references this high spiritual day - day of atonement.

    This is Great! I did have a question on the differences of Jesus wanting people to know what they did for them. For example, verse 39, Jesus tells the man that was possessed by a demon to “Return home and tell how much God has done for you.” But in verse 56 after raising a girl from the dead, He ordered the parents not to tell anyone what had happened. Trying to understand the differences. Your thoughts are appreciated! Thanks!

    Gospel - Jesus Christ the Only Son of God, who is equal to God came to our world in the form of a man (so He could die), He lived an obedient Life, He kept the Law, therefore Holy, had offered Himself as the Sacrifice and died on the cross for our sins by shedding His Blood. He was then buried but rose again 3 days later according to the scriptures. While the wages of sin is death; death has no power over a Holy being, therefore the Holy Spirit raised Him from the dead. Because He is the Only Son and the Only One Who Lived among us that’s Holy, the Holy Blood Sacrifice became the Only thing God would accept; God is Holy therefore His standard is perfection. John 14:6-7 - Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.”. John 3:16 - ”For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.“

    Not just the verses around the specific verse, but also connecting verses whether they're in the old testament or the new. Thank you! It reallly annoys me that so many women read extra "biblical" books instead of going to the Bible. Case in point: a woman is trying to figure out "what kind of Christian she is." Go to the Bible right? Nooooo, she's reading a book written by a man with a denominational bias. it's going to be easy for people who don't understand the Bible, to be deceived. The Bible is the meat and devotionals, etc are usually cotton candy, especially the books geared towards women. It also annoys me when an author uses multiple versions to fit his/her narrative. There are a lot of women authors I refuse to read because of their inaccuracies. But they also focus too much on self instead of God. OT, do you surf?

  • @adminroxstargaming4334

    I love the point you ended on however is there any more information that may be able to answer if these numbers have any specific meaning I feel as if the Bible is written in a pneumatic form for us to have been able to pass it on throughout so many generations verbally and made it easier for us to recall, but was intended for us to decipher at our own time. There is so much symbology in the years that they lived and when they had their kids so and so forth, and I’m curious as to why it is written like this. It could also be a traditional Hebrew miss understanding they counted a bit different that we do now but I’m curious.

    The people became especially fearful of this thunderstorm sign from God, because it was a time of year when there was little rainfall and if it continued it could ruin their crops, and was a distinct possibility because the Mosaic Law states that a malediction on the people as a whole could also be accompanied by a curse on their land, especially if they were disobeying the Law regarding giving the land a Sabbath rest for one whole year every seven years. When God did curse the land too much rain or not enough rain would occur and blistering sun without rain would parch the land and the sky would appear copper without clouds.
