I remember watching Two towers in the Theaters back when it came out. And later when a friend of mine and I were Binge watching all three in Extended editions when Extended Return of the King came out.. Rest well Bernard Hill you spear have shattered and your Shield remain strong. You will be remembered!

I extremely disliked the changes that Jackson and his writers made in the very character of the members of the Fellowship. Theoden King was not a member of the Fellowship but certainly a key figure in the story. They, of course, made Theoden King look like a coward at Helms Deep and at another point in the movie but they did pretty well by him at the end. The music that was created for Theoden King and for his people was fantastic and helped to make up for Jackson’s changes in the story.

Bernard Hill was THE perfect cast for Theoden that he even stood out among the amazing cast of LotR

Theoden's story arc is my favourite in the trilogy. RIP Mr Bernard Hill.

If he has a tombstone (many don't these days) I think it would be beautiful if a Simbelmynë was carved on it, in tribute of his role as King Theoden. Regardless, I hope Hollywood does something to remember him by.
