Is there a difference between satin and matt ppf? Or are they the same
Yes, good question, a huge difference! Satin reflects light slightly, so has a tiny sheen to it. Whereas matte is like a chalkboard, so reflects minimal light and is very dull looking. We install Satin for gloss to satin conversions, and certain 'matte' paint finishes require 'matte PPF', as if we were to apply Satin PPF to a Matte paintwork, it would be a completely different finish!

Friends of mine bought one probably around the same time, their chauffeur having written off their Shadow 1 hitting a really stubborn aged oak, when l saw it l thought the paint finish was a bit over the top but over the years it’s grown on me, gold / brown a bit racy today it looks fantastic.
