See, the trouble with these games are that the thing they are missing is in the other game. For instance, MFS has NO damage physics (which War Thunder has), but War Thunder does not have vehicles (Firetruck, Ambulance, etc.), but MFS does.

If you really choose the mechanics of combat and physics, then you should take a closer look at DCS. WarThunder is not about mechanics
