Ive read about the Thumb Tie, different methods in several books and pamphlets over the decades. I even gave one method a try very briefly in the 80s. But Jim is the only performer that I have ever seen do it! Probably been around since the 1800s. Simple, entertaining, plays big, packs small, fools them! Overlooked by everyone except Jim.
