hi i lived in grange in the 60s and 70s also worked there in the 80s there was no grass it was all sand and rocks up to the prom nust do a road trip bk up north and take my mini4 happy flying

Back in the days before aerial photography was made easy we had to rely on a knock at the door by some random chap who had photos of your house taken from a plane flying above. But now all anyone needs is a fifty quid drone from amazon. I look at this space and try and put back into place things as they were pre-galleries. Yep, you guessed it, im just an old fella being nostalgic. But these pics of Ton'y allows me to be so, so why not? If i put myself at the clock tower i can see myself waiting for a bus, not very far away from where id just bought a paper and ten woodbines from the busiest shop in "those days Wigan." The kiosk attached to the old waiting room.

What a terrific video! The Kent Bore may not be as mighty or impressive as other tidal bores, but the muddy tidal water overwhelming the clear river water is really interesting.
