I’m thinking of getting one of these my last bike was a BMW S1000R so I’m a little worried about the power delivery I’ve been riding years so know it’s going to be much slower. How is it day to day overtaking etc. I will use it for commuting about 25miles on Norfolk country roads

I have owned a 900 Tracer 2015 for some months now. It has an irritating whining noise in some gears- specifically in top gear at cruising speeds of round 60 mph(100kph)- seemingly a common problem. This disappears at about 70mph(115kph) which is illegal in New Zealand. Something to do with square cut gears and not fixable

Wow, more than 50 videos about how fantastic the Tracer is and not one saying that Yamaha should drop its face in shame for making a dangerous bike from 140, the steering vibrates and the jolts are unbearable, not to mention that when it's hot The motorcycle does not start, or stalls. Several colleagues have changed swingarms, others have spent thousands of euros to improve their suspensions, the reality is a dangerous motorcycle and NOBODY SAYS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, what a shame

Your right mirror, being almost vertical, gives you a good view of the road behind and the sky.

Traction control on this bike doesn't prevent wheelies.

Stigma ? Unfortunately we have a bad habit in the U.K. of jealousy and stereotyping people where bikes and cars are concerned , I’ve had every bike imaginable, including Harley’s and BM’s (including GS’s ) loved them all 👌🏻😎 nice review 👍🏻

Good acceleration from 59-60mph there! I found that out when I "tested" my newly bought 2019 model, it went, quicker than I expected it to. Coming from a 650 Vulcan I was a little suprised and I was going along for the ride and I realised what the bike was truly capable of, very quickly! What a brilliant bike the Tracer is, great handling, fantastic engine, very good fuel economy and pretty comfortable too. I think the screen will be upgraded eventually but I can live with that for now. I reckon its hard to buy a bad bike these days and you could do a lot worse than the Tracer. Well happy with mine.

hi sir, one question, with this ermax windshield, and seems like you are wearing dual sport helmet with a beak, how was the riding experience? any issue on top of your helmet?

For me with the touring adventure bike. I always change the handguards to a slimmer streamline ones. They are the reason for the slight wobble in high speed.

How close could this become a tank slap?

Great video, bang on with information for people like me who just need some honesty and no bullshit. Feedback about suspension adjustment makes sense listening to a few other reports. Its definitely the favourite for me to upgrade to. Just to tell the good lady now😉.

Start by leaning forward til the front about to submerge then lean back to ensure front is kept above wave...

Looks like the front tyre has been put on backward! The grooves are pointing the wrong way. They'll push rain water towards the centre of the tyre which will increase the likelihood of aquaplaning in heavy rain. The rear tyre has been installed correctly. Other than that, it looks a great bike for the money. My next bike might well be a Tracer 900 GT :)

Recently, I had to sell my GS1200ADV too, and am considering this bike as well, as it’s way less than half the cost of a new BMW in the states.
