The glaive they use is actually pretty weak compared to other polearms. If you go to smithing, you'll see that the glaive blade doesn't have that much damage. Yet, these beasts are so versatile that you don't even need any extra cavalries. You can easily use them as cavalries and horse archers. Their archery is also as good as the Fians (260 bow skill).
Blade damage doesn’t matter when the thing does 150 damage for swinging, swingable long pole arms will always be great no matter what. Also they are literally top level archers second to fians and best horse archers, top level cavalries and great infantry
@@themarketgardener It matters because in a real war, most of your enemies will be armored so it's not that good but yes, they are literally the best thing you can have in the game. They will always be the last ones to die given you don't have enough of them to win the battle.
