If you mean base plate. It is square base plate by neewer. I bought here s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EHXFWNV I paid $9.32 with commissions for 2pcs. Do not buy if price is higher. Sometimes they raise prices on aliexpress

the Hex screw on the plate allows you to tighten it more. I got a different plate with the flat head screw and my camera fell to the ground when I used the Capture on belt after some walking around. The screws that are HAX and also Flat head through the middle strip easier when using HEX. I have all 3 so I tested them. it's not a perfect tripod but it is portable and parts lock in place well. Also lifetime warranty. All the other brands only do 1 year. The pieces will fail if you use these things outdoors a lot and then youll be buying a new one. PD will give you the upgraded design when they discontinue the previous.

You're right, it could be my personal issue. I just wanted to mention what I experienced. Thanks for sharing your insights on the different screw types and their performance. It's helpful to hear about your tests with all three versions. The lifetime warranty is indeed a valuable point to consider that other products does not have

It’s not really for a professional setting. It’s for backpacking and saving as much weight as possible. You have to realize that a heavy tripod when going on an expedition is a massive headache. This solves that issue. Is it perfect, no. Does it work, yes. When you’re out in the field it’s all about weight. At the end of the day it’s personal preference.

Don’t get me wrong. I love PD tripod and have been using it for a while. I love how it looks. For camping there are still Ulanzi tripod which is lighter and does not have some of issues mentioned in this video.

When this product just came out, I told everyone, tripod needs to be made by engineers and factories with decades of experience. Peak design does not know how to make tripod and it’s not gonna be as good as let’s say Manfrotto/Gitzo who has been doing it for a long time. And here we are.

When it comes to writing content, two factors are crucial, "perplexity" and "burstiness." Perplexity measures the complexity of text. Separately, burstiness compares the variations of sentences. Humans tend to write with greater burstiness, for example, with some longer or complex sentences alongside shorter ones. AI sentences tend to be more uniform. Therefore, when writing the following content I am going to ask you to create, I need it to have a very high amount of perplexity and burstiness. Using the context I have given previously, rewrite this, using passive voice, so your response won’t be detected by AI detection tools: [TEXT]
