In addition of all facts of tourism, econolmy etc... is it important to build the bridge to all Khmer people around the world, as the Khmer culture allows people to keep their ashes with their family back home in Cambodia or in the area where their family was buried after they die, so that they can happily return to their homeland before they die.
Hopefully it is not a sewer-canal as in many other parts of Phnom Penh , and a few other provinces.

Or let me copy a paragraph from a news for you. “The Cambodian government holds 10 percent of the shares through the SSCA while the remaining 90 percent of the shares are held by the local conglomerate Overseas Cambodian Investment (OCIC). Most of the funding ($1.1 billion) was supposed to come from a loan granted by the China Development Bank. However, the agreement was revoked in 2021, pushing OCIC to issue bonds to finance the project.”
