I was honored to be sitting there in that room in that very day. Praised be the Lord for the life to the late Dr. Roy Fish, a true man of God. It was the last time I heard him speaking at SWBTS before his departure to be with the Lord.

Like you and your voice, this video too is incredibly beautiful. I love your mission to sing in praise of God in order to lift spirits and lead them to the Way. I was so, so lost, alone and despondent at 17, with absolutely no clue about our Kind and All-Loving Lord. But He reached out to me, clueless as I was, through what was seemingly secular, but in reality deeply spiritual music that soon led me to His waiting, loving arms. The song was "Hummingbird," by Seals & Crofts back in about 1972. Had it not been for me hearing this one song, undoubtedly I would have been dead by now from suicide, abuse, or drugs. But I have been consoled, loved, educated, and richly blessed by Him throughout these 50+ years since. This song and others by what I consider to be a sacred duo (Seals & Crofts) led me to a Faith that has sustained me ever since, and seen my 3 children through to loving and productive adulthood, 🙏🏾 truly the greatest miracle of my life, given my origins. I'm relating this to encourage you to persist in your mission. Yes, there are so many out there who are lost, like I was, and need you desperately. You certainly have the voice, the heart, and the motive to carry it through. I'm praying for your success. You are so exquisitely beautiful and blessed. I'm so glad to have stumbled upon your magnificent performance on AGT.💕

I don't watch AGT often, but tonight when I read you were at SWBTS (I'm an alumni) and was singing tonight on AGT, I watched...I heard the voice of an angel; you sang so beautifully! I'm glad the crowd enjoyed it, but I wish I could have heard your voice only. I love that you love our Lord......hope to meet you face to face so I can hear you sing as you sing for the Lord.

I love choral songs, but the lyrics are a little strange for me in this one..."no time to wait for you." Maybe I am interpreting it wrong? I prayed to the LORD for justice one day, and I heard a young man's voice respond, "we have to reach all people groups" (with the gospel). In other words, wait for our brothers and sisters to be gathered, and the justice I desire will come is how I understood that response.

This man is a treasure.

I miss being at SWBTS very much. There has been much turnover since I graduated, but I have tremendous respect for the professors that I do know. Praying for SWBTS as they prepare for the coming of a new president. May God bless and use this institution, its faculty, and its staff mightily in growing His kingdom and in training and encouraging the ministers God has called.
