Villages on Guam - Mongmong, Toto, Maite 2024
The villages of Mongmong, Toto, and Maite are located in central Guam. Together they form the islands Tri-village, under the same mayor. One thing that stood out to me was, in Toto - Harvest Baptist Church, along with it's academy, is thriving.
Due to the proximity of the Naval Airfield - no fly zone for drones, I was deprived of getting a lot of picturesque landscapes, commercial districts, and popular landmarks. Yigo, pronounced jee-gu, is Guam's Northern most village. While it still retains its "Sleepy Village Feel" a lot of businesses and development has sprung up over the years. Just about everything could now be found here. I attempted to do a video of this village couple years back, but I lost two very expensive drones here. Whoever created and published the video, if it could be update to include Route 10 (going to Mangilao), this will complete the area coverage of Chalan Pago-Ordot. Tai Road, Chalan Peskadot, and the Father Duenas Memorial School is part of Chalan Pago and is often mistaken as being a part of Mangilao. s/Mayor Gogue

I spent a month over there in 2022 doing work for the military. Fell in love with that island and the people I met there. Can't wait to get back there. Maybe retire there

My Uncle was one who gave his life there , shot down over Guam , June 12 , 1944 , never found to this day . Can't understand why Josh Gates a TV star of Expedition Unknown can find an Avenger with bodies in it , why can't the US government find my Uncle , his Pilot and Gunner . How did you get the drone shots, isnt the airport close?
Yes, it's close to the airport. I was surprised when my drone took off. Came back recently on opening week and it wouldn't fly. Same with K-mart, it's near the airport and would take off some days and not others. Not sure why. I'm using a dji mini 4, hope this helps.
